Well if you take Ah Lamb's news clips on Malton, it's kinda understandable with the looming pp.

It looks more like a longer term investment atm.

PP is to be done at 1.10. So by right price should be higher around there? Not sure really...

usually when PP is done at 1.10, PP offered 10-20% lower

For me, I would be a bit cautious right now about property stocks.....

Don't get me wrong, I think there is massive potential with Malton and its new project.... but this is probably a longer term investment....
however....
when you add in the current state of property market....
which I believe isn't as 'góod' as it was previously (ie compare current market to one or two years ago) .......
and then when you add in the 'valuation' issue.....
it's not a 'sure win' sector atm............
stock selection is utmost crucial now.......................

Completely agree with that. But if you look at the slowdown in contract awarded, and the slump in CPO price.. Oil and gas and plantation counters are not attractive as well..

So what more?

The top investment grade stocks aren't cheap....
+ their profits isn't really firing at all cyclinders atm.....

banking stocks....
some are doing rather well....

CPO for me.... it IS still dead.....nothing changed at all.....
CPO prices falling but not the stock prices.....

err.... small caps....
the only better sector is furniture....
but then....
you know the market thinks so negatively about these stocks...
they think all furniture stocks are from Sungai Buloh....
and their past time is playing with fire.....
