I got myself a 370w Enermax Noisetaker PSU..

But I check my Mbm5 voltage, how come it isn't that accurate? Is it normal?

bro, can u host ur screenshot at imageshack?? i can't enlarge it..

btw, u could try changing the voltage configuration under 'voltages'.. when i installed my mbm5, my voltages, fan rpm and temps were screwed up..

all u need is to set it by changing the sensors and configurations by cross-checking with the real voltages using Everest or any other program.. hope this works for u.. biggrin.gif

I can see it clearly, no problems whatsoever. To me, there's nothing wrong with it. The 12v rail slightly overvolts but its okay as long as it is above 12v. You got a nice psu there.

nah.... i wouldn't say too much overvolt is good. it just cause stress to components, and creates unecessary heat. in this case.... higher is just as worse as lower.

but i think it's just some off-reading from software monitoring. check with digital multimeter for real-time reading.

Yeah, software reading is not that accurate. Maybe plugging more hdd might help u lower those voltages.

izzit true?? since this is first time i saw psu provided higher voltage from the specification.. smile.gif btw i think the others forumers was right..software reading somehow didn't so accurate..u can directly check ur 12volt at the second 12 volt rail..while ur pc in use..but i juz wan to remind since multimeter will short circuit and disturb ur psu voltage by theory smile.gif

Good psu always overvolts, its normal. In your situation, ur system power usage is lower than what the psu can supplly/handle so it overvolts a bit more in general.

wow....
ur 12 volt rail is way to high...
and y is ur highest core0 value 2.++ ?
i think ur temp sensor is having problem...
hows the reading u get from bios?

my temperature sensors for the NB is having a little problem . SOmetimes it reads far until 100celcius.

The bios voltage is the same as mbm5. I was just expecting a more accurate voltage from this PSU..

I guess then it must be my components uses little juice. I calculater and it is using about 220w...

Hurm, im not sure about that too. Weird, but need more information such as his mobos so that we can know more detailed about it.

It depends on the offset of the sensors of the motherboard which is never accurate unless calibration was done properly at design stages. Best way to accurately find out is not by plugging in more harddisks or any sort of home brewed solutions. It's by using a multimeter probe and continuously monitor the voltages outputting at the molexes (Which has 12v and 5v rails connected) to be sure. And FYI overvolting within 5% is ok. Generalisation is a very dangerous thing to do even in life
