QUOTE(mikelanding @ Nov 3 2006, 11:45 PM) did U replace the thermal paste? I use hand to feel the NB....is hot, cant barely touch it for long (1 min or so)... Yea the stock NB passive heatsink is hot without a fan blowing, can't touch it even 3 seconds... Burning desire Just tested the D9GKX stable at 2.27v, DDR1060 4.0-4-3-9 |

QUOTE(ddww @ Nov 5 2006, 04:33 PM) weird, mine read 2.1v at +0.3v. What i meant is, it overvolts at 0.05v... So when you set +0.4v, actual Vdimm read 2.25v yupe, but i never saw a hynix C4 with 667MHz. i'd only seen 533 Hynix C4 out there and its 512MB mostly. its soooo hard to find a 1GB Hynix C4 stick. so our fren here is sooo lucky. so only 2 ppl i know using 2x1GB KVR Hynix C4. @tampoi the highest cl3 i can go is roughly about 920++MHz. lazy to tried out the max since it cant even boot up at 950MHz @ 2.4v. wat is the highest u can go with cl3 timing? CL3? I guess not more than 420MHz, though the last time i tried is 425Mhz bootless... This post has been edited by tAmp0i: Nov 5 2006, 06:17 PM |

QUOTE(mikelanding @ Nov 9 2006, 11:59 PM) Do U mean once U had done the Vmod, U can achieve the stability but when U undone it..it will become worst than U did Vmod before? Nope, what i mean is before the mod i am Orthos stable at 1.375v and full load caused it to drop at 1.34v or so... After modded, full load is rock stable at 1.375v but Orthos failed. Strange eh? Couldn't help it but to remove the mod straight after that If yes, then I think that mod had some flaw like other said.... |
