Need that much voltage to do DDR 800? Loosen the timing and go higher lar, since the memory timings won't affect much compare to memory speed  tongue.gif

Lol, too excited to see what it can do at 3.0-3-3 biggrin.gif Gonna try the highest benchable megahertz with these sticks, soon

Yea the stock NB passive heatsink is hot without a fan blowing, can't touch it even 3 seconds... Burning desire biggrin.gif

i think can do tighter timing with higher voltage. overall this is a nice piece of ram. i'd tried mine. so worth the $$ i spend..
*
I am not sure how tight can it go, still but anything below CL3 or 4.0-3-4 resulting in no boot...

Gigabyte DS3 Vdimm reads +0.05v... At +0.2v = 2.05v, +0.3v = 2.15v and so

weird, mine read 2.1v at +0.3v.
yupe, but i never saw a hynix C4 with 667MHz. i'd only seen 533 Hynix C4 out there and its 512MB mostly. its soooo hard to find a 1GB Hynix C4 stick. so our fren here is sooo lucky. so only 2 ppl i know using 2x1GB KVR Hynix C4. biggrin.gif

@tampoi
the highest cl3 i can go is roughly about 920++MHz. lazy to tried out the max since it cant even boot up at 950MHz @ 2.4v. wat is the highest u can go with cl3 timing?
*
What i meant is, it overvolts at 0.05v... So when you set +0.4v, actual Vdimm read 2.25v biggrin.gif
CL3? I guess not more than 420MHz, though the last time i tried is 425Mhz bootless...

How u make it become CL 4?? drool.gif
@ stock is CL 5...  Are u +0.6v for vDimm??
can teach me please?? mine is 5-6-6-20 @900+Mhz  sweat.gif
*
Did you manually set the timing or 'Auto' everything?
900MHz can possibly stable at 1.9v or 2.0v (i think)... Try it out and let us know wink.gif

Do U mean once U had done the Vmod, U can achieve the stability but when U undone it..it will become worst than U did Vmod before?
If yes, then I think that mod had some flaw like other said....sad.gif
*
Nope, what i mean is before the mod i am Orthos stable at 1.375v and full load caused it to drop at 1.34v or so... After modded, full load is rock stable at 1.375v but Orthos failed. Strange eh? Couldn't help it but to remove the mod straight after that biggrin.gif
