Hey, mind to share the difference among Xiaomi Mi3 box, MINIX X8-H Plus 4K and this HIMEDIA Q16? Is the 2G RAM really matter? Isit worth to spend more to buy the other 2 whereas Xiaomi box cost half of the price? Thank you.

- Slim but powerful,105.75 x 105.75 x 21mm

If you could read Chinese, below comparison table obtain from China forum :

In summary. Xiaomi box is designed for online streaming, himedia box is designed as Android box for online streaming at the same time as Media Player for offline streaming high quality movies such as Blue-ray movies with 7.1 channels audio. Himedia box video and audio codec is not compromise and continue addon to support more codec such as H.265 and TrueHD 7.1 Atmos.
There is no good or bad, it depend on customer expectation. Some customer only need online streaming, some customer expect offline streaming from HDD or NAS. For Apple to Apple comparison, Mibox is equivalent to Himedia Q1 or Q3 which in the same price range, between RM200-RM350.
