I saw that you already helped to place the add-on files in the device, but when I am in the apps, there is no TV option to select.

Becos nicety is using streamyx, not affected.

Unifi has this bad problem of a bimonthly period... China broad bandwidth used up, wait for next cylcle, maybe 1-2 weeks. Happened in sep 2014, nov 2014, and now jan/feb 2015. It will come again.

It has been like that for a week now. Certain times of the day or night, still can get a bit. Other times, nothing.

I just tried. My unifi10 showed 400kbps (=50KBps) on MG. Ethernet or wifi, can't watch anything. Normally, it will go to >5000kbps (>625KBps or >0.625MBps). Non-China sites all ok.

Only way is to use vpn, gotta pay....

Bbts is working.

What u experienced is common. U can check and read about it in the kodi/XBMC thread in entertainment section. Also widely reported in Kodi forum, happened to all kinds of devices.

I have it working but I can't explain it. I had been using bbts since Kodi helix beta2. Helix had been changing to beta 2, 3,4,5 then rc1,2,3.... And finally now official helix. Each time I upgraded, it behaved weird. Some updates, BBTS work, others, it doesn't. I am now on helix official, it works. May lose it at next update. Safe to say those numerous updates in a short period of time wasn't good for bbts, failed to keep up sometimes, I suppose.

If u happen to keep a copy of the org.xbmc.kodi or just .kodi folder when bbts was working, can reinstall that to try.

this is a simple yet powerful apk.

hundreds of live tv stations from many countries - sports, news, music, movies, tv shows, etc.

almost all sd, a bit off color and some with wrong aspect ratios. but... just about all of them work, stable.

if looking for skypsorts 1-5 and the like, they are all there.

Thank you for acknowledge receipt bro.

Rooted device will void the warranty by Himedia. To claim warranty you need to un-root by restore back to original firmware.

By the way, if you know how to.use the box rooting is not necessary. Rooting open your Android kernel to the public and,expose to virus and malware. Please ensure you know the impact before do it.

3 things u need to understand first:
1. HD mean diff things to diff people... can be 480p (?), 720, 1080, rips, mp4, hd audio sometimes...
2. HD LIVE sports and movies - these are usually not free anywhere, they are usually paid iptv.
3. how good is yr broadband? consumer broadband in Msia is not that good, so cannot expect 100% HD 100% smooth 100% of the time.

having said that, with a good adroidbox with the right apps, on-going updates and yr constant personal involvement can deliver some very good enough stuff incl free sd/hd movies and live sports (channels may or may not be what u want). and it is very cost effective. just don't assume the box by itself will work to all yr expectations on auto mode. this box is totally software driven subject to broadband speed/stability, internet geoblocks, etc. not like astro decoder where u just push buttons!

this, i agree... i had thought of rooting... but then i realized there is no need. all apps, playback, hd video, hd audio, dns, vpn, samba, etc... all works good, ... why the need to root?

Sorry bro, the Android version will stay at Kitkat to ensure the stability of the box. Android player is not like smart, not necessary to chase behind the version, the important is the streaming apps compatibility.
