Getting pcb first, just graduated and unemployed, limited budget  tongue.gif  case can wait
Found the EC forum thread, but could not understand if its include controller and smd component for rmb300+. Soldering not a problem since I have too much free time to burn  blush.gif

And only 1/20 votes  sweat.gif
*
I think the controller chip should be included but not soldered, else will be little headache to source one by yourself sweat.gif .
smd diode/resistor no big deal, can buy from taobao and they are very cheap.

Other way round is self order nerd tkl pcb from gon brows.gif .

sounds challenging lol.
I have an acrylic case that I planned to try but ah wells.
setting it will be the main priority. I'll figure bout blingbling next.  tongue.gif

If the pcb doesn't support side leds and u want the effect, u can to sacrifice the led holes for switches by:
1. reverse mount the led, bend the leg and cut it to short enough without interfere with other components.
2. soldering smd leds.

I don't think the case has any space at the sides after mounting to the case. thing with gon's case, his case is diff. which is unique.
I've seen some people said to use led strips. but oh wells. I might wanna make some leds glow underneath tho. haha
*
As long as your pcb has at least 3mm clearance from bottom layer of acrylic it will be no problem to do the reverse mount or smd leds.
led strips u need to check the spec of it, if 5v and above u need other way round of connecting to get them light up.
Either jump wire from the usb power of (+ -) or see there's extension of vcc gnd holes like some gh60 pcb that someone mod that i have seen in EC forum.

How much for a whole set including:
- Case (include plate also?)
- Switches (MX Brown, Red, or Black)
- USB cable (Custom 1.5 meters)
- Full assembly service
- Without keycaps sweat.gif
*
Yup, the case include plate also. 220rmb for the alu case. The plate is on top layer of the case, very alike with GON's style/design.
The plate can choose type of layout u want i think iinm.
MX switches needed for Ghpad are 21-24pcs depending on layout. Price are about RM1.5~2 each without shipping.
Custom cable not sure, Jusnits have the sleeved ones.
Full assembly service depends, I charge rm10 for soldering switch, rm15 for both switch+leds.
stickering, lubing and oiling are optional.

Seems like it is sold out.  sweat.gif well, I'm not in a rush to get it anyways.
btw, does the pcb include stabs ? or do I have to source it myself.  sweat.gif
What's the diff though btw the gh pcb from the taobao seller and gh ?
Seems like the GH one is still producing for some reason.
*
Stabs not included, need self to source it.
GH one is more likely experimental purpose one, I only know JD or notsurewho is selling it. GH one still keeping the old design of wiring on pcb, seems they havent fix bug or done testing. Not sure what they are doing anyway sweat.gif .
The taobao that we gb one is supporting full keymapping and leds with breating+brightness control already, but no macro keys available yet.

Since you already have the case done before, how much was it for the case including shipping to East Malaysia? RM150 can cover?
Let's see if the price worth it...  brows.gif

Case: RM 150+
Switches: RM 50+
Custom cable: RM 45 (Jusnits)
Full assembly: RM 15+
Total: RM 260 (base price estimated)

So if want this, what that...  doh.gif can buy another nice TKL keyboard already, not yet go Alu... sweat.gif

Been thinking to get one, but not sure if I'll be really using it or not... unsure.gif
All those *bling bling* really poisoned me deep-deep. rclxub.gif
*
Shipping from CN to East Malaysia is about RM20~23 per kg sweat.gif . So if wanna buy from taobao might wanna save all parts that needed and ship all together to utilize the shipping cost a little bit sweat.gif .
016 had order the alu casing, not sure he have any extra to let go or not.
Haha yea, the cost of custom keyboard is kinda disappointing for our wallet. But the beauty of custom one is able players to mod and have the keymapping they wanted instead of fixed by oem.

Filco NKRO Test

Majestouch 2 users, could you spare a minute and test your own boards and see if this turns up?

Even if switch back 6kro the problem still persist?

I've tried mashing all the keys as in the video, since that's my testing procedure. I activated the beep, then proceed to check whether Sticky Keys are active in the Ease of Access panel and it doesn't seem so. Sticky Keys is unchecked and I've also disabled the "Lock modifier keys ....." option. Still the same thing.

The easiest to test is the Shift key stuck modifier, but the interesting thing is other modifier keys such as Ctrl and Alt are also affected. The fix which you tried (pressing both sides of modifier keys) seems to fix it. I've since ruled out OS specific problems since I can reproduce the problem on Linux, although that was only one instance.

I contact Daitec and they actually cleared my board for RMA, I'm just running through with everybody for the last time before I actually RMA it and be left without my board for a whole month sad.gif
*
In that way I will rather stay with 6kro if there's no reason to use nkro.
Else u may up to RMA step >_>

2nd hand will depend on market demands, if it is high the price will be increased. Either GH or CN forum is the same.
But mostly just tend to sell at gb + shipping price to cover what sellers have spent since they already lose interest with it.

They might sell above the gb price + shipping and call it labor fees too, that's what I'm worried about.
*
If it is assembled, we normally not count the labor fee anymore.
Only the price of switches will be considered.

Thanks for the advise, phantom is not my choice as i would like to have bling effect. I am considering nerd tkl now, any chances where i can find cheap tkl case for nerd?
Yeah the redscarf price is tempting, but i'm not really into the layout
thinking to get nerd tkl now
*
If u can do the assembly and tuning by yourself really save a lot, since:
Nerd TKL pcb = 55usd
Acrylic Case = 70usd
smd components and mx switch source from taobao or china forum.
Should be less than 200usd i think.

owhh, but why does it feels kinda iffy. Maybe its the switches, the differences between brown and clears are the required force to bottom out right?  rclxub.gif
*
mx clear requires more force for both actuation and bottoming.
the typing sounds similar or the same for both.
