Good idea, if can program side key from the mouse to fn key will be nice to use without moving right hands or strecth left hand fingers to access fn key like poker2.

and now i need a mkb with fn key to try. pcb still haven't arrive  mad.gif

You guys don't need a real "Fn" to test on. You can assign a virtual key to to side key of the mouse.
Then, use the combination of the virtual_key + keyboard key = preferred key.

virtual key + 1 = F1, virtual key + 2 = F2... and so on...

A real "Fn" is embedded in the hardware, it's not possible to map the real "Fn" because the "Fn" is not detectable in remapping software. i.e KeyRemap4Macbook, AutoHotKey..
For example, real "Fn" are in Ducky Shine, HHKB etc.

For Filco, that is a "Pn" instead of "Fn", so "Pn" in Filco is remappable to other keys you want.

Pretty darn normal, just will need more space for the keyboard, that's all, but most known MKB is quite compact, TKL, 60% so you save space on your desk.
I'm very tired of using this laptop rubber dome after I've enjoyed the MX Brown, it's a real heaven to type on, much smoother and less stress/fatigue on my fingers on long hours typing, even gaming is a breeze to press on, smooth, rubber dome now can go extinct for good sake mad.gif
But as you know those switches is pretty big so slim laptop can't use them, I'll planning on another 60%, tempted on one offer... just need to adjust my financial a bit... then grab it.. LOL... doh.gif

danggg ! now im still confuse to choose between pure pro / race. both come with white color.
the reason to get race is just for more convenient when playing dota. lol. but does it worth it ? sad.gif

my mainly usage is autocad, sketchup and photoshop. which i think its ok if without f1,f2,f3..etc

well if space isn't an issue then go ahead and get a TKL keyboard first. then only go ahead and get smaller keyboards like poker 2, race etcetc

space is quite an issue for me. as i studied architecture which i required to have some space in front of my PC while im sketching, reading books or etc.
as this BWU take most of the space and it quite fat to put it under my monitor ( the bulky size of this keyboard has been bugging me ) im been with it for 1+ year.
i feel it quite nuisance that why i planning to get a small and light keyboard while not affecting my productivity.

quite regret buying BWU. just for the look. sad.gif
it look damn shiny at first. once the times passby, dust and oil compiling. now it looks not better than logictech lol biggrin.gif
