Reason?

1. Failh switch. Made by cheapo Chinese knock-off manufacturers, the quality is questionable. Not to mention the fact that keycaps might not fit the layout.

2. Best overall build quality, like around top 90% marks from me. Layout is in standard ANSI, which means that it'll be very easy to get a replacement keycap set.

3. Cheapass China rebrand from another manufacturer. They just ask the manufacturers to plaster the Gigabyte logo instead of others. AND YOU'LL NEVER FIND A REPLACEMENT SPACEBAR.

zennasyndroxx, the Green switch in the new blackwidows are actually similar to MX Blues, but you are right in that different users might like different switches.

Software macros or bust.

Honestly, if you want a good, solid board, and one that will last for years, go with Ducky.

Day 2: Ok, let's give this a try. Spend liao lor, what to do?

Day 3: Not bad leh. Like rubber dome la (d'uh) but it feels... different.

Day 4: Try actual rubber dome see.... BLUERGH. HECK NO RUBBER DOME.

Day 5: Wow. The crispness is incredible. Keys respond back to you, as if daring you to type faster. Bottoming out feels so natural unlike Cherry... No hysteresis either.

Day 6: I have realized that Topre needs some getting used to. Let's type more on it.

Day 7-13: Lalalalalala

Day 14: Good oneness with cup rubber. It's no longer you typing on the keyboard, the keyboard is pulling your fingers in and then pushing it back off when you actuated. Typing is an actual joy. The feeling is... overwhelming joy of finally finding the end-game switch for your fingers. Now you look for an excuse to type out long winded sessions and your other keyboards begin to feel neglected.

Day 15: "Where to find Topre keycaps?"

Day 16: Depression because Topre keycaps hard to find.

Day 17: Read up on the Topre-slider-MX-stem inserts. #anewhope

Day 18 onwards: Start saving USD 300 for the whole set.
