SGD 35 VEP + RM 16.50 MY side toll + SGD 6.50 SG toll side
That adds up to about $50 a day i.e. $1000-ish a month just on VEP + Toll charges for someone living in JB and commuting daily to SG.

This only applies to certain people only. As pr n singaporeans cannot drive malaysia car, the vep of 35 should not applied except for some who got less than 1 year in singapore

Hi,

I'm going to start working in Singapore on this coming October.

Can I know if I'm going to move to Singapore, will I need to open all my boxes to let the custom check? Or just like airport, put into some kind of scanner?

Thanks!
*
U go in by what mode of transport? Car? Bus? Train? Plane? Ferry?

Have to. Especially for first timer coming from Malaysia due to concern surrounding ISIS's threat.
They will isolate you in a separate interrogation room and conduct a thorough search. By thorough, I mean really checking every single thing, up to the point that you may be stripped stark naked in an empty cold room!
You have been warned my friend. Singapore means business!
*
Oh....like that only ah...lucky they dont shove in a cctv camera into the rear hole to check if anything hide inside...laugh.gif

Its ok, only rich people drive for leisure in Singapore. Poor souls like us, thanks to high rental and properties prices around MRT stations, fully loaded bus, the frequent breakdown of the MRT, need cars to travel from far away house to work on time because 1 minute late our boss will sack us, complain to ICA, revoke PR and send back to Malaysia within 24 hours time frame.
*
Said until like that. Why drive a luxury car instead? Also u mean if take taxi ll be slower than u driving? Staying far away from work, hmm....most likely ll get into jam n u never late for work for 1 minute? If yes, why u still in singapore instead of sent back to Malaysia....

Joking joking har....dont angry....

You guys got it all wrong. Bapa singapore would be so sad. Gahmen actually implement that policy to help foreigner. With Sg topping the most expensive city in the world, gahmen is pushing min salary 12k for foreigner in the long run. Sg not like Malaysia favour one particular party, not because some group can't get job then new policy to protect them. Sg fair for all, who able who get. Long live Sg founding father.

So for your question, put expected salary 12.001k so you no need wait for the local applicant period.
*
Fiona jie jie is a high paid elite which bapa singapore rolled out a red carpet to welcome her....12k is just the minimum requirement n can consider belongs to the cheap group when u mix with the elite group...tongue.gif

I never ask for 5-figure.

No I am a SAP user. I wish I am a system person but I am not.

Miss deadline by one hour also they make a lot of noise.

Miss means miss. No need find excuses whether 1 hour or 1 day or 1 month. You are paid to do the work n your performance is gauged by your efficiency n hence your bonus n promotion in future. If your boss tells u he also miss a 0 in your bonus, what would u think? Just a digit only.....
