my PowerColor 6950 2gb died... load drivers then PC freeze otherwise OK.

was thinking to repair to keep as spare GPU but dunno where its spoilt

Repair faulty GPUs? AFAIK,you can only do that through RMA-ing them.

Turn it into a wall deco that's what i do for old gpu's unless they're still decent in which i make other systems for family or friends o3o

Judging from relatively good performance increase from R9-290x 8GB@2160p i'm guessing you'll be getting 2 of those soon?

Anyway, judging from the pathetic pricing of current 4GB 290s here, maybe it's better to import them. PowerColor and MSI revealed their 8GB 290x a couple of days ago.

What happened? Artifacts?

error code 43.. even with fresh windows and driver install the gpu still cant run. Already reseat and reapply thermal paste but nothing happen.. error code 43 all the time.. any last advise before i RMA it tomorrow?
