im fine as long as similar performance level as my 6970

i read up that 270 is the 7850 and 270x is the 7870
the 280 is the 7950 and the 280x is the 7970

thanks for the heads up on the pci- 2.0 and 3.0

as bottleneck considerations, I believe any card about this range would max out my CPU/system anyways (if it wasnt already maxing out on my 6970)

PS: i don't think I game tat much anyways as I've slowly grown out of it
