They're beautiful, right. 
I feel the Achilles low in white is probably the quintessential white sneaker, the perfect sneaker. They're expensive, and some people might not feel too comfortable in them due to heel chapping. But heck, they're perfect. Quality wise is top notch, and they age really gracefully. Can be worn with just about any outfit and still look classy.
Maybe some in here have the Gustin version, which is cheaper. No idea if they're as good though, something about the branding just puts me off the Gustin.

Agreed on APC rip off, its been said Hedi only wore APC before he created DH denim. but Common Projects ripoff? you mean his new Saint Laurent sneakers line? well even CP inspired by the famous Adidas Stan Smith btw, everyone copies everyone now. Even Rick Owens dunk copied Nike. nothing new. But still in terms of quality i'd pick CP > SLP sneakers any day. I had CP Achilles low in my rotation.

May I suggest that you go get the Adidas Rod Laver White if you're looking to not spend above 1k

Got them CPs back when Surrender first stock them. Should have worn them sparingly as the soles wore out and now it is my futsal shoes. Any idea if they can be resoled ?

As much as I like how it looks, price went up so I'm not hopping back into CP's boat unless there is an option to resole.
Gonna stay with my dad style NB993's.
You can also consider Diemme's Veneto whose price point isn't far off my CP's but cheaper
