I'm looking for Unbranded's brand but it seems in JB there's no stockist or retailers here selling it. Only few places have ready stock for raw denim jackets. If you have the cash, I'd reckon you try Raizo, which is based in Langkawi that carries a lot of raw denim jacket. Or perhaps Kronoz in JB? Tbh, jackets are rather subjective so you can just gamble on your size and get it. If you are wearing a S, it won't be that far off and vice versa. Hope it helps. |

QUOTE(BacktoBasics @ Jul 24 2021, 10:33 PM) any1 here tried chinese brands such as Saucezhan, Red Tornado or Uncle FU? i have cheese denim in my collection. Long story short, they are really good. The denim are usually imported from japan, and the machine they use is old machine like singer, union special. since they made it in house means u can make a bespoke denim tailored to your taste.Or local malaysian brands? Any comments or thoughts? for their ready made ones its great too. was banging my head when i didnt get the 18oz ones where the denim was quite rare and hard to find. As for chinese brand i guess most of what u mentioned are okay. if u are having 2nd thoughts on the chinese brand, hey go for for alternative route such as japan blue or sugarcane. still cheap imho. |

I didnt know we have our own denim maker such as raw denim house but i think they are mostly bespoke / MTO. I am new into the denim game...is 18oz very heavy and hard to wear in our Malaysia weather? At the moment, I only own Uniqlo jeans only hahahah i am not sure of their weight since they dont say it on the website or product description. |

I'm happy with most 15 oz as I feels right for me. Tried 18 or 21oz b4, feels kinda off for me personally. But since we are still in lockdown, I haven't wore my jeans in ages |

QUOTE(BacktoBasics @ Jul 30 2021, 10:14 AM) thanks for the tips. Honestly there are a lot (around 5-6 that i know of) but im not sure if most of them are still around except for cheese denim. i wore a 19oz samurai and i have a 19 oz iron heart and i do like the thickness. for samurai 19oz i use mostly when riding my bike and iron heart for leisure. I didnt know we have our own denim maker such as raw denim house but i think they are mostly bespoke / MTO. I am new into the denim game...is 18oz very heavy and hard to wear in our Malaysia weather? QUOTE(BacktoBasics @ Jul 31 2021, 03:03 PM) well if u wanna try a cheap uniqlo would be ok. i mean u wont gonna spend like rm1k++ for a high end japs denim and ending up not liking it lol. go for cheap like uniqlo and then slowly increase your options. |
