The width wil definitely goin for D. Just like my bro who owned 1907, he also recommend me to size down half or one size.. ask him to buy for me lol..

Btw, do you have any experience with the charcoal leather after several use? Cant find enough pic of the worn boot..

The 875 model is lame but i love its seasonic texture..sadly cant afford to buy both
*
like i said, i only have an iron ranger and unfortunately its an oil-tan leather. but looking at the pics i would say its pretty soft and easy to break in leather. as for worn out charcoal leather i also couldnt seems to find it anywhere thou i would say probably u'll wear the sole 1st before damaging the leather. however i did find a youtube video but its for the iron ranger charcoal leather. u can see it for urself.

I highlight since you are getting a N&F at a weird guy cutting but lower weight. Only down is the leather patch is making it dodgy.

I have been regular with MD for their made in US leather stuff, ie wallet, shell cordovan watch straps, harness/bridle leather belt. Really quality stuff that hard to get by here, closest maybe in Japan.

As for jeans and shoes, I am a bit hesitated cuz i cant try it.
*
the bolded one... yeah... freaking easily to tear of.

my N&F weird guy patch torned after just a couple of wears. and i seldom wear it to be honest. now its dangling and if i wear a couple more it'll be completely severed from the jeans.

thou i like the cut of weird guy, the leg opening is far more narrower than my nudie grimm tim (if im not mistaken)

I have a pretty "fat" thighs per say.

So not too worried about the leg opening tongue.gif

So the leather patch ain't the best quality, eh? Noted on that.

Perhaps I'll try my luck with A.P.C. this time around.
Damn they have a collaboration with Carmina? I would love to get a pair of RTO Carmina but that's a dream someday for me to achieve....

Agreed on the cutting part. Sometimes, it's just pure gamble. So far, if it sucks, I will just resell it at Carousel or something  tongue.gif
*
no worries.... i myself have a "healthy" thigh. thats why i bought grimm tim and weird guy to "accommodate" my big thigh lol.

putting phones and other things in the pocket is almost impossible with the current waist sizing thou. i need to go up for a size or 2 to comfortably put and pull my smartphone on the front pocket.

Anyone here knows what other brand that has this jeans' colour + cutting?

*
Naked & famous weird guy
Nudie grim tim
Unbranded brand slim fit

Loads more but i think most of the major brand do slim fit. Its just the matter of how slim and how tapered it is to ur liking

Hey guys can recommend raw selvedge jeans that has a relaxed fit for waist?

Currently wearing lee denim left hand twill green selvedge. So comfy.

A lot of slim fits now has really low waist. My balls begging for air plus the fitting restrict my movement.
*
levis LVC. look for older repo's year (around 1940s if im not mistaken). that should have a normal or higher rise.

most of straight cuts are normal to high rise so if u are looking for something that is high rise and slim, chances are u better off looking for japanese denim. there are loads of choices there. one that caught my interest is the ONI tanuki secret denim. looks mighty fine to me lol.

Got any physical store for japanese denim in KL? Last time the curve has a shop selling raw jeans now its closed. Or any jeans store?

I had bad experience buying pants online. Bought naked&famous & nudie back then. Both doesnt have nice cutting for my liking.
*
KL

Kronoz - Fahrenheit 88 (Range from momotaro, iron heart and also naked and famous and other brands i cant remember)
UGS - level 3 sg wang (range from studio d artisan, pherrow, toy mccoy and others that i cant remember
Zolo - Campbell complex (range from samurai, momotaro and others that i cant remember)
Ceremony fine wear - Wangsa Maju (local made denim and also imported denim)

if subang got the Yard at SS15, Subang Jaya (local made denim and also imported denim)

btw which levi's number would you recommend?
*
depends on what style u like. some like skinny, some like slim fit and some like straight fit or regular and 501 is not skinny/slim fit to be honest. its more towards straight cut and regular cut. thou for me levis 501 is the iconic of the levis brand.

as for uniqlo, yeah there are loads of raw denims, loads of selvedge denims too.

if ure on a tight budget just go for uniqlo. the cutting is current and u can not go wrong with it.

I'm using Nudie Jeans Grim Tim dry selvege for 1.5 months now. And I put snus box on my back left pocket to get a nice fade. But the experience was Pain in My Ass. Everytime I sit down, my left butt hurt biggrin.gif
*
last time i put mini ashtray to get that rounded fade effect. since i quit smoking 2 years back i just put it on the back of my PBJ for fade effect lol.

grimm tim got a shallow back pocket and the fitting also quite tight. i got 2 grimm tim where one is my actual size (31) and another is 2 size up (34). while the actual size grimm tim looks nice and the 2 size up looks a bit baggy i prefer the later since its quite comfortable and i usually ride nowdays so the actual size grimm tim is a no-no to me.

i also use long wallet with chain wallet and with the actual size nudie grimm tim my butt is gonna hurt a bit but with the 2 size up grimm tim it feel just nice.

to sum it up, grimm tim for actual size is tight... the back pocket is quite shallow from others that i know of. but i love the fit, the construction of the denim and the butter smooth button fly. AND the fact that i did secured a discontinued black dry selvedge grimm tim is also a plus lol...

Yeah I found my Grim Tim is quite tight. I need move out my wallet and phone to my bag every time I ride my motorbike. The experience was not nice at all if you keep put your phone/wallet on your pocket while riding a motorbike. Maybe after the first wash it will become more softer? have you try before? how does it feel after you wash your Grim Tim? biggrin.gif

Mind sharing that circle fade here? biggrin.gif
*
even if u wash it, it wont be loose. im afraid it'll be tighter than before but after a couple of wears it'll expand back to its original. that being said, front pocket also is shallow than most of the denim i know of. if u put iphone 6s plus its gonna protrude a bit. if u riding a low easy rider bikes then u wont have that problem lol. as for me i rode a sportsbike and its quite a task even to sit on the sportsbike using the actual fit grimm tim.

as for the pics, well let me see what i can do. its been a while since i wore my PBJ and its in my drawer now. for the past year ive been rocking with my sammy x oni which is soooo much comfy than the PBJ (since its a regular fit and i bought a 34 instead of 31 of my actual size).

I hope you guys don't mind me asking, I don't have a lot to spend on clothes and I saw the Nudie Jeans Grimm Timm and Lean Dean, are there any other cheaper alternatives? Like around RM200? Sorry if it's too much to ask >.< The only brands I know of and buy from is Uniqlo and Levi's but the jump from 150+ to 600+ is something my wallet can't handle hahaha
*
try unbranded brand. last time was around rm290++ (it was years ago but i think its still within ur budget).

or try our local denim such as cheese denim, ceremony etc.

or just wait for sales. year end sales sometimes can get u a great denim for a cheap price.

or just grab a raw denim it wouldnt be as expensive as raw+selvedge denim.

anyways, my take is its ok for u to spend a bit on ur clothing. my nudie is still wearable till now. i bought it like 6 years ago and still looking great. i even wore my samurai denim everyday for almost a year and half and still looking great (apart from fading still looking freaking great)

unbranded brands where do I find those? don't even know where to start.

oooh never knew those existed, cheese denim looks good.

Ok will keep an eye out for sales!

all my jeans are kinda ruined, so was thinking of getting like 2 jeans then get something great as my third so I can swap between them, because I literally wear my jeans everywhere everyday unless im doing sports.
*
kronoz do bring unbranded brand if I'm not mistaken. beside kronoz is having sales now so u can check out over there and get the feel of raw and selvedge denim.

yeah cheese denim looks good. they use vintage sewing machine to replicate those old style of denim feel and using japanese denim (for selvedge that is, I'm not sure about raw) and the cutting are current.

selvedge denim tends to last a bit longer than the current projectile loom that jeans nowadays use. so i won't worry too much about it getting destroyed.
