Can someone please explain to me regarding the Streamyx Combo packages? I live at SS2 area and do not have phone line at the place i m renting. If i m going to apply Streamyx combo, is it mean i have to apply the phone line as well and pay RM 28 per month? My current place do not have any extra phone port, if i m going to fix it, will it cost me alot for the phone installation/cabling? This post has been edited by LilFert: Apr 8 2008, 05:57 PM

dear agents,
I wanted to apply streamyx 1Mbps combo package. But the house that im staying now already have another streamyx account. my room is upstair of the house, is it possible to have the streamyx fixed in my room? i mean, i dont want wiring all the way from downstair. Just straight wiring from outside (or how is it done?).

Answer - 1) RJ45 (LAN) 2) good question, answer is yes/no, it will "tarik" a new cable into ur house, can't use 1 telephone jack to run 2 fixed line.
