Hi all, my hypptv device has been updated to latest firmware. All my apk doesn't work anymore. Trying to reinstall HyppTV apk installer but failed. Anyone know how to restore everything back to usual? Appreciate a lot.

How did you re-install? could you please share with us who unable to reinstall?

Setting, System Upgrade, masukkan 3008 & pilih confirm, padam server address (tekan back pd remote) dan pilih confirm. pastikan perkataan `setting saved'. DONE....

FYI all,

For ec6106v5 model,after tm autoupdated the stb, HYPTV_APK will missing and all the apps that u install prev is not working anymore.

To avoid auto update pls erase all the data in Setting→System Upgrade and CCS Setting. (maintainance code is 3008)
(dont forget to snap all of the data before erase it)

For unifi user please dont connect the lan cable to port no 4(red one)

Streamyx router dont have separate lan port for hypptv connection like unifi.

all of above step is not confirm working or not.but atleast try first before terlambat.

already update new firmware version , I try previous method didn't work since the signature issue. Can anybody help to share how to revert back to previous firmware or software version?

Try to flash back apps that no longer working after the recent update using update-signed.zip but fail miserably.

However, I manage to install ES File Explorer before the update and suprisingly it's the only app that works after TM update. So I copy aptoide apk in USB and manage to install aptoide and few other apps thru es explorer. so far so good.

My stupid hypptv always not working esp at night.

It was fine when I installed it abt 9 mths ago.

I know one potential issue is cos my router and modem is upstairs and my hypptv is downstairs but I am.using power line cable and it was fine when firstly install.

Any idea guys. Paying for something that does not work is not a good feeling

Turn off ur hypptv by plug/off switch. Then off router, then off BTU.
Wait 5 minutes then on STB, then router, lastly hypptv
If still same, call unifi to reset connection

Should I off the hypptv and powerline cable if not in use.

Just tried, it worked well for abt 30 min, then the error came back.

Hi everyone,

Currently I'm busy with college, since I'm still in foundation.

I already acknowledged the patch, still working on it. Maybe-or maybe not we will see this box get exploited since HyppTV recovery now require signed key to install recovery on it. Best workaround for those who still not updated - is to disable the auto update.

Another option is to hardware-level flashing, but that requires opening the STB, hooking up a UART, accessing the serial console and so on. This method cannot be applied by normal end-users, which is us.

I will try to research more on this STB, since all my other exploits all requires recovery mode. But I can't promise when.

For those IPTV apps users, you can get decent Android box as cheap as RM150 online, with more decent specs than current HyppTV EC6106V5. Or just upgrade to EC6108V8 which is better.

many apk cant install, cloud tv ok watch some programe ( last time install) recently failed to install the other apk.

Or maybe just forget it, beli Android Box terus

Currently pasang Astro ON the Go dekat MAC book lepas tu streaming dekat AirPlay so boleh keluar kat TV. Tapi selalu hang lah, maybe problem connection kat Laptop tu.

For the past week i see the crack one which can unknown sources can be install gone..when i'm trying to install it again it stuck on the recovery mode...

last time i hyyptb stb to watch my movies collection. then the spec not too good, i bought an android tb box, install astro on the go( so far ok, not connection issue), hyyptv apps. but the hyyptb apps missing few channel. not all u can watch
