QUOTE(Vinceyang @ May 10 2014, 11:27 AM) Bro,How you verify it's nappa? Just now my SA came and explain that the Nappa is on the bottom of the seat, the rest is normal leather-like PVC. He explain that consumers can't tell the difference as Nappa and synthetic seats are made so closely, hard to tell the difference. If it's Nappa full seat, cost around RM4,500 |

QUOTE(Vinceyang @ May 10 2014, 07:00 PM) Bro, if nappa is more expensive, y wanna hide under the seat? Usually ppl use pvc under the seat. And leather on where eye can see. This call half leather. Y on earth ppl wanna out nappa under seat and normal leather where eye can see? Maybe our butt can feel the nappa? Seriously, he told me straight. It's not nappa. If nappa, won't be so cheap and all C segment cars already install it. Sound little plausible.. |

I saw YouTube.
CX5 and M6 got this kick down switch. Since both cars share the same engine as M3, then should have this kick down switch. |

QUOTE(bbball @ May 14 2014, 04:49 PM) hi guys, i have a question regarding istop... I think the I-Stop is an interesting topic.when istop activated, engine turn off... when engine turn back on, did you feel any vibration on the engine start? It does vibrate because it restart the engine. Most of the time, I switch off the I-Stop because fear of it's durability. I know some argue that it's not like other conventional start-stop engine but as long as it involves restarting, will damage spark plug and starter in long run. Thus, I switch it off, but do show significant fuel saving though. |

QUOTE(bbball @ May 14 2014, 05:23 PM) i'm afraid of the engine mounting and the starter as you mentioned. it getting louder and bigger vibration when i travel longer... Sorry. I mean switch on the I-Stop. can you still achieve good fc if you turn off istop? 8L/100km? But when off, I get 8.6L avg. turn on, 8.9L avg. Not much difference. QUOTE(Lennywrx @ May 14 2014, 06:31 PM) Hey I want to know this as well!.. Initially I wanted to try it myself but then I said to myself if it does save fuel without the Istop I should hv gotten the CX-5 not the Mazda 3 and also Mazda should have known the istop doesn't serve its purpose if all those saved fuel doesn't reduce our fc right? IStop saves fuel by 10% QUOTE(bbball @ May 14 2014, 10:00 PM) i paired it just like the instruction you shared, no ringtone... So far Android phone got no problem. Got ringtone, whatsapp tone, LINE also got.u guys got ringtone? whatsapp come got sound? |

QUOTE(derravile @ May 16 2014, 11:39 PM) haha godcar....read that from many place too, i do realised this "god car" likes to hog fast lane even going slow You're right. 2 days ago, I overtake a god car. Then the dumbass wanna show off by overtake me on slow lane. I pity the fool and the car because that slow lane was full of holes due to construction. I'm already driving at 60km and he drove faster than that, through those holes. |

Just now, I try to overtake a alphard.
Dragging, I switch to manual and suddenly the car is in 2nd gear and rev to nearly 7,000 rpm. Even I release the pedal, it's still revving.. Until overwrite by shifting to 3rd gear. This sky activ gear not so good... |

QUOTE(Ikhernofret @ May 19 2014, 07:35 AM) Could that be by design? Yes. But I thought the manual system, if over rev, will auto switch to high gear? And I'm not really pressing the accelerator hard. It was 3/4 only.I did read somewhere that skyactiv-drive transmission is designed with wide lock up range. What I understand that it holds onto a ratio longer than any other transmission. However I don't know whether what happened to your car is normal or not? Anyone else can share their view? So, there is a symptom here.. I hope after 3 years, the GB not damage like DSG. |
