singapore properties is on the down trend. I am reserving n accumulating bullets to enter the markey by next year. Cant be too greedy as only can afford one deadchicken n then rent it out to let other people help pay the installment apart fron monthly cpf deduction.

this year's price still at the high side...got room to drop...hope I dont miss the boat by next year

walau eh....this time really liao....

The news said those investors has now turn away from singapore n venturing into other countries....which malaysia could be one of their targets....if they come in, DDD ll have to wait even longer or rent from those investors.....

People sell n earn 200-300k. Even after they pay RPGT, whatever fees. Still can make 150k-200k. Like that ll die meh??? Then u go work one full year also cant earn that amount, then, u should be buried 5 feet below by now...isnt it???

At this moment, I wouldn't expect it to drop much or rather correction. What I mean is; there ll be people trying to sell when they see the market is not performing but at the same time there ll be people ready to buy as well n can get it at a small discount. It is not hard to sell away if the buyer willing to pocket in lesser.

U r not totally wrong nor correct either. Firstly, I ll not argue with u on the singapore properties why it drop n I ll expect it to continue till next year.

next, yes out there, there ll be some desperadoes, sone panic investors who wants to off load their properties fast as they do not want to trap their cash. But we got to understand how big is this pool of people. The price ll bottom down due to this group of people but ll rebound back after they have off loaf it. For example, a 500k house. The buyer originally wanted to sell at 750k but cant get buyer fast. So he reduce n off load it at 600k. Then, another buyer offload it at 580k n some may be reach to 500k level n they may suffer some losses in whatrver fees etc. But once this group are out, you wont be able to find prices at that level. The market got offer, but no sellers. People like myself who have holding power, I dont mind to hold it until the price rebound to the level I want.

Why u look down on his colleague that he got not enough money to buy? He could be getting a margin of 80% finance or this is his first property n he also got epf money to use in dp. You should at least check before u tembak. Guess your mindset already lock n evrrything u see must be black.

Age below 30...how much epf he got, do u know? I didnt check,u didnt check but u already dismissed his ability.

House 500k. Loan 90% with 30-35 years. Monthly repayment may be just around 2k with BLR-2.4%. So, if with 5k income, what's wrong with it?

Your calculation right or wrong? When u borrow money from bank, the mrta is included in the loan. Don't u know about this? I got one loan taken in 2011 for 450k + mrta etc for 30 years with BLR - 1.8, monthly installment only 2,100 only. Hiw u can come out with installnent 2.5k somemore with 35 years loan n right now can get BLR -2.4. You sure u got the right frame of mind to do calculation or estimation n not skew one side.

how u know he got no more savings? U know him personally or just plain assumption from what u think ll make your thinking correct.

one of my ex-colleague (my ex-staff) in 2010 quietly go buy the first launch of semi D at cyber jaya (garden residence) at 800k++. Lots of people fark him for being stupid n bold. Niw that house already completed n he can happily sell it for 1.2 - 1.3 mil. But he hapilly go dumped in about 400k cash n renovate it n now live in it. I asked him why not just sell it n pocket the cash n his answer was. Yes,today I sell it n take the cash but tomorrow I want to upgrade, I need to take out more money to buy back a similar house.
