Hello @Clem1982,
Full Black Silent Very good air circulation (as my environment is quite hot) Dust filter (less dust as possible to go in) Reliability (at least solid not like tofu, on/off button wont easily spoil Simple design (not monster-like look, fancy like gamer) Place on the table beside wall As less use of screw as possible Possible cable management I don't mind how ugly it looks but i just want something that i dont need to clean that often like the cap ayam im using right now, just a week after cleaning inner side full of dust as if like never clean before also i'm not sure why my environment makes all my metal at home easily get rusty =/ I'm actually looking for Lian Li PC-7H / PC-8N, however Lian li casing stock availability with below RM300 like these model will never happen any soon. So, i don't mind getting any brand now as long it meets my requirement above =/ Hope you can help bro This post has been edited by jexmond: Jan 23 2015, 11:16 AM |

CM Elite 120 ADV is a good bet but if you wanna go a little premium I suggest taking the Silverstone TJ08, it is slightly bigger but the quality on this is amazing for it's sizeCriteria - fit normal size PSU - normal size GPU - 3 3.5" HDD - 2 SSD - 1 optical drive - Plain colour - not going to Water cooling - no blink blink needed - no side window needed - easy access / maintenance Budget around 300-400, can be stretched. |

Budget: 100-150 Preferred Brands: Any Location: KL Must-Have-Features: -ATX Midtower -good airflow -dust filter (or whatever that helps with reducing amount of dust going in as definitely wont be cleaning/servicing this PC) -doesnt look too canggih (giving my uncle and he's pretty old fashion) -silent This post has been edited by benbenhor: Feb 18 2015, 04:41 PM |

QUOTE(benbenhor @ Feb 16 2015, 11:12 AM) Hi! Looking for a casing with these criterias I would advice you to save extra money and get computer cases that are around RM200-300 because anything lower than that, Budget: 100-150 Preferred Brands: Any Location: KL Must-Have-Features: -ATX Midtower -good airflow -dust filter (or whatever that helps with reducing amount of dust going in as definitely wont be cleaning/servicing this PC) -doesnt look too canggih (giving my uncle and he's pretty old fashion) -silent manufacturers cut back on a lot of things such as inconvenient installation of cables and hard drives, lack of proper dust filters, build material not solid (flimsy and thin). If you insist on that price range, you can grab Cooler Master N200. Grab DIY dust filter at RM6. 2 Fan Intake + 1 PSU Fan = 3 (3 x 6 = RM18). |

Here are a list of computer cases I would recommend for $200:long lasting is definitely the most important criteria and also cooling so the hardware doesn't heat up and get spoiled easily, and also not too "cool" looking btw will be using an ATX motherboard so MATX cases are out of the picture 1. NZXT H230 2. Bitefenix Neos (My review at https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3339205/all) @ RM180 3. Cooler Master Casing ATX Silencio 352 @ RM180 Do take note that computer cases below RM300 budget bracket will have: 1. Difficult time doing cable management (less than 1cm of space behind motherboard tray to tuck cables) 2. The rear brackets are permanently removed (can't be placed back with thumbscrews). 3. Lack of rubber grommets on the motherboard tray holes OR stock computer fan aren't sleeved = not great aesthetic 4. Computer case feet is made of cheap plastic = might slip. 5. Flimsy thin material, easy to bent = side panels difficult to install back into the case. This post has been edited by asunakirito: Feb 24 2015, 04:47 PM |
