The blue fish is considered a delta (anywhere from 90 to 160 degrees) and a superdelta is anywhere between 160 to 179 degrees.
A halfmoon is exactly180 degrees while an overhalfmoon is more than 180 degrees.

Yewlin! That melano so chun man! I hope mine will turn out like yours. smile.gif

thanks for all the clarification about it. tongue.gif

finally i found a true indian almond tree around my house, my eye must been blind last time for not paying attention to it.

Anyway, I already got the black water effect from the leaf, do i need to throw it out now ?
Also, does everytime i do WC also need to replace in another leaf?
I mean does it necessary to do it every time?

Guys, something wrong with my betta.
since that day i brought back the ketapang leaf & put it in tank until today, oredi inside the tank for 2 day, & my betta just seat at the bottom, & it seldom eat, usually it got a very big appetite one..but not for today, what's wrong? I oredi boil the leaf before putting it.
Just now i done a WC, now its condition ok a bit.

if u stay at pj, you can find daphnia at KOK aquarium old town. smile.gif

If the water ph is either too low or too high, does it had to do of the amount/size of leaf i put it in the first place or the period of leaf inside the tank?
Sigh..just now accidentally feed him oredi, will try next time not feed him first.
Now i didn't put any leaf yet.

speaking of breeding & feeding the fried, will they eat the betta food or those frozen worm?

Alternatively, you can use 'yellow medicine powder'. Quite effective too. For hole in the fin, normally one or two day will recover. For fin rot, may take longer. If it really cannot be cured, then cut off their fin to let them grow back, I tried before.
*
Oh..I'm afraid to cut it myself ler, scare 1 mistake cut the fish died.
I only got the Ocean free general aid special yellow medicine, which stated to cured fin rot & others disease, does this help effectively? currently im just using ketapang leaf only.

Haha, i know brother...but still not ready for that yet. tongue.gif

QUOTE(freshyyf @ Apr 12 2007, 05:08 PM)
I think that is the one. Cut only when rotting is worst, or else your fish will die.
*
Oic, then there's isn't any side-effect if i use the medicine while my tank still got the ketapang leaf effect, right?

freshyyf, wow...your Marble Fancy is really nice, even though u had been "operated" on it.
I think my betta had no fin-rotting disease anymore, hopefully it could grow healthier & growing back a nice fin.
