My blue bf is changing colour. I dont know what happen. He is turning into something like a marble. He is just active as before. anyone hv some ideas what is going on?

i guess there is some breeder from penang...

if he got marble geno than it will turn to marble , mostly you can notice on head area . somtime you won't notice when young...when old and when the color is stable you will see it

okie. by the way, the blue bf is the one you gave me FOC. Still very lively. Flare and eat like normal.

help! one mof my betta suddenly in 'sinking mode'. usually he'll float in mid-water but saw her yesterday evening in deep part of the tank, looks weak but still eating like mad. after eating, swimming weak to tank bed again.

what could possibly the pblm?

give something for it to play.....like feeder fish ("longkang" fish)
or put it with another betta fish side by side

err...i think the one i give you is marble bf not blue bf coz as far as i remember...i don't like marble bf and only keep blue bf

yeah, rite...u can occassionally use mirror reflect back to it or u can make the betta hates u

my betta everytime saw me pass by, always will flare.

tried ady. now he in on oxgen backup...wonder if he ever need it, anyway.
yesterday put one guppy inside, no response.... take the tank decoration so he can see the other betta but also no response.

Maybe too long didnt "release stress"..try find him a girlfriend

bring in a nice gf for him liao. but he still don't bother.
now put in a few 'high speed always moving' small fishes for him to play around.
let him built up some speed.

Do a 30% water change maybe? The last time my betta behaved like that, he has ich. I put him 2 days in a quarantine tank with medication. He's back to normal.

me from near penang..huhu. kulim, where u bought supply, food and med for ur betta?? my betta sick, dunno what med to use and where to buy good one, not Rm1/bottle..no use.

my betta very2 sick oredi, bought from Yewlin last year...around June 2006, mean 1 year+
i think he can't survive
fungus and parasite i think, body and scale looks have scar and today white spot all over body..cant swim.
every 3 4 day i change water+salt+anticlorine+ketapang leave+fungal med [green one from LSP], kulim cant find good med, to bad.. dun have time to go penang.

ANy Suggestion From Otai2 here what med good??
