Besides hung with high pitch noise, do you encounter anything else?. Is it normal if u unlock and the screen is showing u 'resuming' word.

A few times, very random. Mostly on whatsapp, which i believe is a whatsapp issue and not WP 8.1.

Guys how is the battery life of your phone?

I talked to my friend on skype for 20+ mins and the battery fell from 75% to 73%. I mean that is simply amazing. None of my previous phones were even half the level of what it is lolx.

OR is it that my phone's battery indicator is wrong

guys, please unpin ur cortana from start screen.. Cortana is the culprit resuming & loading issue..

It is on the start screen for me and nothing happening so far (4 hours already ) maybe i am the lucky one!

yeah.. it will occur once or more per day... that time ur phone will hot and battery will drop alot..

you were also having this problem? i started to have this problem too this morning (all this while no problem)...
the phone started to become very hot, then when wake from standby, it will show "loading"...

i have unpin 2 live tiles, though i still have cortana pined..
so far the problem did not arise again (touchwood)..

did you just start having the problem? does the problem happen some time after you pined some new tiles?
i suspect is due to some live tiles...

perhaps should try remove those unnecessary app from background. might do some improve.

Really? I unpinned cortana from both 1520 & 720, and no more "resuming" issue.. Maybe got other tiles need to unpin?

Only live tile seems to be Photos ? and maybe calendar.

Any ideas ?
