QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Jun 12 2014, 09:36 AM) another option: i saw that too...would have gotten it if it can be be "folded" to act like a stand...but i might get it if i cant get the nokia flip cover...https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3058028&hl= The original nokia case only protects the edge while the above is the whole sidelines. BTW, are you using this cover? will this the nilkin flip cover affect the wireless charging? |

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Jun 12 2014, 10:05 AM) the nokia flip case wouldn't really provide a steady "kickstand" unlike the ones on ipad and mini Ipad. Trust me on this. was using it upon new purchase of 1520. one day... it felt and the edge broke~ really? now using nilkin hardcover without flip casing. guess i will looking for other alternatives... thanks again... |

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Jul 1 2014, 08:29 PM) ya.. already had this in the early days... then Nokia came up with their own Files explorer which i find is neat too. not really into Nilkin's design, and it looked a thicker compare to nokia's...why don't you try Nilkin, not bad for the given price~ cause i want to charge the phone wirelessly, so bit worried a bout thick casings might interfere with the charging... |

QUOTE(Eoma @ Jul 3 2014, 11:51 PM) Perhaps. yeah, yours dont have many live tiles and yet you got that issue...On my homesreen. [attachmentid=4039838] Only live tile seems to be Photos ? and maybe calendar. Any ideas ? among the tiles there, i can only remember xbox music being updated lately... maybe you try unpin it and re-pin it again... i have unpin 2 news live tiles and it seems to be ok now... but as PruneFace suggested, maybe can wait for Lumia Cyan update to see if it solves your problem... i also waiting for the update to see if it solve my "scrolling / tap" problem... |

downgraded to 8.0 then updated to cyan...
at least now the screen transition is much more smoother...a lot less stuttering compare to last time... finally a brightness slide bar, which can manually adjust the brightness instead of just 3 levels... as for the camera, the photos quality definitely look better, at least on the phone, havent view it full reso on the PC though... apecx92, how you encounter the AF issue? maybe i can try to replicate the issue on my phone... one thing though, the "phantom" tap/scroll issue, is still there, though not as bad as last time...makes me wonder if it is hardware related... next week will install back the dev preview for the WP8.1 update 1... |

QUOTE(rifles @ Jul 31 2014, 11:19 AM) oh, that's the first update required before upgrading your phone to 8.1...after this update, you should be downloading 8.1 update which is much bigger and longer to install... one thing i noticed though, the whole installation took less time than installing during dev preview time... BTW, anyone of you guys using any apps that utilize the SensorCore? |

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Jul 31 2014, 11:50 AM) it is? but inside bing health & fitness, i can see "steps tracking turned off"and when i tap on it, it says "motion tracking: OFF - Get insights on your daily activity by turning on motion tracking"...i can either tap ok or cancel... i believe the SensorCore is enabled in cyan update... feel like turning it on, but most of the time i would just put the phone in the drawer when in the office... rifles, it would still download in the background, but it wont auto install as it need you to tap "install" when the download is fully downloaded... |

QUOTE(apecx92 @ Jul 31 2014, 04:19 PM) just open the camera and put it on tripod or flat surface. will notice that the camera goes up and down after auto focus. now i see what you mean...» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « yes i did put on the table with the camera facing down to the floor... although mine does move down, but it stop after around 1-2 secs... mf_yamato i wouldnt say i'm disappointed with the camera, as i dont use long shuttle speed... so far all the photos i tested are ok and better low light photos though i dont have comparison to show... other features that come together with cyan, it is worth the effort to downgrade and upgrade...at least to me... besides. after updating i can get the developer preview again to get the new features next week...
