yup..especially now rainy season..really get dirts on it fast...but my other car is also white..lol...

tried pick up today and eb can easily go up to 140 even without noticing it...

so far 3 issues i've encounter these few days:-
1) headlight will flickers at some time (its like on air cond and cause some drops at voltage)
2) slight rattling sound on the passenger chair. (due to the chair position is not engaged properly)
3) slight jerk when reversing...idleing might not be stable..
4) i can't find the button to activate front windscreen blower..(e.g for cold weather places)
*
140 just so so only. you can hit 180-200 in a single punch. brows.gif

Maybe the engine still new. I didnt use any additive for my 1st service, just change engine oil, oil filter only
But i notice there is slightly drop on the trip meter (previous is 14.5L/100km)
*
not too worry, it will drop below 10L/100KM (80% highway)

1) Mine too, and was worried about battery almost kong. Now that you confirmed this, I'm thinking to add VR, at least 1 Farad.
2) Mine too. Read about drivers complained that driver and passenger seat will have free play when car accelerate or decelerate, making kik-kuk sound. Sent to SC to remedy.
3) Clutch type CVT...
4) At the center console, next to the hazard light? Activates rear defogger at the same time.
Please read page 1, about not using additive for CFE engines.

For my car, tyre air pressure affects the FC significantly, even on highway.
That time was immediately after 2nd service (6 months @ 10000km), heading south with full passenger, cruising at 9~10L/100km @ 110km/h, so stopped at gas station to bring the air pressure up from 28 to 34 psi. Immediately:
- At 100~120km/h, cruise at 8~9L/100km.
- At 80~90km/h, cruise at 6~7L/100km.

After the trip, city driving FC reduced from 11.8L/100km to ~10.8L/100km.
Yesterday I checked, it was at 10.1L/100km.
*
yeah. me also always maintain the pressure at 35psi

went SC to update to latest version? Feels more powerful ah?  brows.gif
*
no. not the SC.
this is from EOCM group, and the members got a close relationship with a proton r&d staff. so they sat a time and place where they met and talk all about protons car, mainly on how to upgrade the car in the proper way, basicly on setting, grouting and trottle body servicing.
i accidently met this guys in another forum, and the results, great for now. yet to test drive for a long journey this weekend. nod.gif

just to add something here.
there's a big different during cool start.
before, the RPM raised up to 2600 to 2800, and sometime hillup over 3000, before going down and some hickup during idling.
now, it's up only at 1400 shortly, than down to 850. very stable and no more hickup during idling. hope it will last. rolleyes.gif

I think it's the 1.6L Turbocharged engine that lacks sufficient horsepower for pickup of speed above the 100km/h region
(compared to say a 2.4L Estima engine)

Most cars (apart from high end/performance cars) can't do 100-150km/h that fast anyway.
So I suppose for an MPV, the EB's performance is considered decent already  nod.gif

yeah. i played many many times with this estima. if we shoot from 120, they not even close to the tailgate. at 160 they almost surrender. at 180 they just said, "ok, go ahead, you won". biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hi

am new to EB car - 1 week old
my main question to ask other turbo owners.

my car only able to register total km mileage of up to approx 400km usage from full tank.
when it reaches 340km, the petrol light indicator lits up.

the fuel estimate indicator shows like 11L/100km. so its good or bad? city driving.

any idea whats wrong or i missed out anything

already done 1st service of 1000km.

thank you

so....
for the engine oil change/replacement for exora bold cfe? is it 10km? even using only semi-synthetic?? kindly advise.
*
i go for the 2nd service at 5000km on the odo(1000+4000km), and every 5000km interval, with semi. i don't care how long it take, sometime up to 5 months/interval. as my EB only for weekend used, and i'm a heavy footer once on the road.
actually its how you treat your EB. the book is only a guide line. whistling.gif

is the 5000km service optional or compulsory? by service do you mean service interval or just engine oil change?
*
its optional. my SC did say no harm if you go for a 10000km interval service with semi, but it just not recommended if you are a heavy footer with long distance daily drive.
yup, my 5000km service included everything related. i also changed the air-filter at 10000km interval, even the book stated 20000km interval. again, its up to you on how you treat your EB, and also, your driving behavior.
