I had done a simple Spider grounding and using a EPS EVO5000 Powercharger which makes a lot of difference in stabilizing the current.....

Observe serious Humming sound in the car when playing the ED's OHU DVD player that req the receiver volume to increase to about 20++. Very annoying when press the accelerator!! Anyone have the same issue??

Ontop of that during operating the DVD when I Tap the back cover of the OHU display there is a feed back at the receiver kind of funny, not sure is there any things to do with the electronic grounding...

Anybody looking for the original Exora Overhead DVD Player?
I'm selling as I've installed the Rooftop and no place for the Overhead player. So fitted the Headrest Monitors instead.

In very good condition. Came with my Exora CFE 2012 June.
If interested PM me...
As I'm in Singapore.... need to see how to sell across biggrin.gif

Did the Liner for Rooftop and Pillars after installing the Rooftop.
Inorder to remove the Pillars they also dismantled the Lower Pillar board and now both the front Seat belts is not having any tension (so not rolling in automatically when released).

I'm sure that SC will make noise if I bring the Car there as it is quite visible.... biggrin.gif

I tried to dismantle again but bit dare to open up the unit as I know that it has got a auto load limiter...

Any idea what could be the cause?

I don't see any SRS lights On.....
Thanks

What does this do? Sound proof?
For the seat belt retraction, could you bring it back to the same shop to have them check it?

They are the Upholstery shop and may not know how to fix it back... sweat.gif

Not sound proof... it is the Sunroof.... sharing some snaps below....

huhuhuhuhu, 2.5k maybe? use what model?

Yes, went for the Webasto Hollandia 300 which is bit expensive... as for this product it comes with 3 year Warranty even for labour (meaning if leaks) and I already have 2 friends using it (1yr plus and 2yrs) with no issues. And the reviews were quite good....
And since I have to tear the body, didn't want to take any chances smile.gif

The upholstery was done in JB. They done a good job and the package also includes covering all the 8 pillars. I took the opportunity to stuff in some more sponge to all the Seats. So they re-stuffed 1 inch Sponge for the Seats in the front and 2nd row.... and it is more comfortable to sit.... smile.gif

The Upholstery shop asked me to bring the Car back as they think it is the Liner in the Pillar which is jamming the Belt.....
If that's the case, they will adjust a bit so that the Belt can move smoothly.....

(SC asked me to check whether any abnormality with the SRS light...
After the Engine is Switch On, the SRS light should go Off in 5 to 6 seconds....
I verified and don't see any issues there....)

The Upholstery shop fixed the issue after trying out for some time... rclxms.gif
When Liner with sponge was added to the side Panels, the gap with current washer wasn't sufficient enough... so they just had to add one more small washer to expand the gap.
So now everything is fine thumbup.gif

My Amaron 90D23L Battery is more than 2.5yrs now....
Checked around but there is no new stock for the same and with high price...

Any equivalent Battery to advice?
I need a good one to support my multiple ICE and Fittings in my Exora.

thanks for replying. better go for sticky LED light from Daiso. hehe.

is anyone here add other car security to your EB? is the standard factory security good enough for protection?
*
If professional thief's comes in, they can break any security.... only thing is that the complicated ones may take more time.....
The Exora Security is good enough as it is having a Chip also inside the key to match.... and adding a Pedal lock will be a added security.....
In my ride, I changed the Alarm System to Easycar which is a Korean one with many additional features... but surely the Warranty is Void wink.gif

Had a trip to Cameroon highlands with 5 members inside....
The overall trip was very smooth.....

May I check whether you all have seen anything like white mist sort of thing coming via the Aircon airways inbetween?
For my ride, it occurred a couple of times during this trip... and after sometime it goes off....

Got a mileage between 9.75 and 10.75km per litre for the overall trip (reading via Torque Pro). Considering my additional fittings, this is great thumbup.gif

2 other minor issues surfaced out during the trip. My ride requires the Brake to be depressed during the Push start. And few times noticed it was hard to depress. Understood that it was due to faulty Brake Switch. As it was troublesome to bring back to SC for this small work..... bought the Brake switch from the Proton Parts (RM22) and replaced myself.

Other issue was that the Car Alarm (Easycar) gets Armed even though the Driver door is open. Later found out that the wire going to the Alarm from the Driver door joint was loose... smile.gif

I got my EB early June 2014.. rclxms.gif

As for the "brake safety lock" I'm not so convince but will try to disconnected if the occurrence is freq.. Cos it always happen in the morning, am thinking something to do with the Engine ignition system instead of wiring..  wink.gif
*
I'm also using the Brake Safety Lock for around 2yrs... so far no issues.....
Recently my Brake Switch got spoiled, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with this.....
Anyway... I"ll also monitor...

completely changing topic guys. I have just stumbled into this chat and looking through the pages, could not find any reference to it, so apologies if already asked earlier
My kids complain that the TV screen is too close to the second row and it is hard for them to watch it sitting in the second row.
Would any of you know whether the screen can be pushed forward towards the drivers seats more?
Thanks

It will be very hard to do this as the DVD player is resting on a frame that is fitted in the Roof Bar.
Since this player is bit heavy, you cannot simply fix it on the False cealing......
Best is to use Headrest Monitors......
