QUOTE(alexei @ Sep 30 2014, 12:06 AM)

Just the connector which I honestly think it won't break on its own. The location suggests some owner might have accidentally knocked it and claim it is faulty made it a bigger issue that compelled proton to remedy it.
*
yeah. i think you got a point.
i'm doing a lot of long distant travelling and some with long hour none stop.
almost end of warranty period. hopely nothing bad happen. shakehead.gif

If its not an issue but owner fault, why proton improve the new radiator?
*

My FC with Caltex is getting worse lately. Perhaps the wind has changed, time to change brand.
*
just to share my experience. no matter what brand of petrol i used, 10-11KM/L for long distance drive at maximum 3500RPM. caltex/bhp feel more smooth and pickup. shell only alternative. petronas last choice. nod.gif

90kmh - 6-7L/100km
130kmh - 9-10L/100km

like my kampong people always said, 'tepok dada tanya sama itu kaki'. notworthy.gif

I still think your record is better than mine.
Anyhow, I use auto-cruise, and the FC reading is taken from the meter. Most likely not as accurate as yours. Plus, mine just done service, so...

actually either one also not much different.
i usually test both at the same time, and its only applicable for a long distance driving only with minimum idling as possible and maximum RPM at 3000@140KM/h.
filling full tank at minimum 600KM to go. then set trip A. end of the journey, trip A shows 500KM++, and KM to go clock +-90KM before refueling. so it about 11KM/L, fully loaded.
i think its fine for me with that value. can't expect more. nod.gif

Oh btw, proton already send letter to every SC to send one foreman each to train on how to replace the radiator head for EB. We will have recall in the near future smile.gif but only change the radiator head not the whole radiator assembly. It still fix the issue thumbup.gif

completely changing topic guys. I have just stumbled into this chat and looking through the pages, could not find any reference to it, so apologies if already asked earlier
My kids complain that the TV screen is too close to the second row and it is hard for them to watch it sitting in the second row.
Would any of you know whether the screen can be pushed forward towards the drivers seats more?
Thanks
