MIUI also has weekly updates, and it's one of the highly used custom ROMs
*
Yeah, MIUI has weekly updates, but what Android version is MIUI based on now?
MIUI is slowpoke, still stucked at 4.3 JellyBean.
Now already 4.4.4 KitKat.

And also, MIUI is full of unstandardised letterings and wordings.
Almost vomit blood when I did the Malay translation.

4.4 already available for MIUI under Developer edition.

Btw, is it worthwhile to swap OPO with Oppo Find 7a? I fear that it may be a downgrade due to the 2GB ram of Oppo and slower processor and smaller battery, though it has more flexibility in swapping batteries and ram.

Still slowpoke, not yet worldwide release.
KitKat has been released for more than half a year, and have been upgraded 4 times so far, but it seems Xiaomi is still sleeping.
Soon, L is coming out, and I doubt stable MIUI version of KitKat will be out to public.

Look at Crapsung, Motorola and HTC.
They've already rolled out to their customers and they're getting ready to roll out 4.4.4 to customers soon.

So if you compare OnePlus One with Mi3, OPO wins hands down.
If you like stable version, CM11S (based on 4.4.2) is for you.
If you prefer the latest version, CM11 nightlies (currently based on 4.4.4) is the right one.
No lag, no slowpoke, no ketinggalan zaman.

For me slow or not slow doesn't depend on what android version, what's more important is the actual performance. Having had both Mi3 and Oneplus, I can say that Miui is just as fast. In fact it is the fastest rom for Snapdragon 800.

Yes Nexus is still the fastest and smoothest in actual usage eventhough it fares poorly in benchmarks. For me Miui is a close second.

Turn on NFC.

Install AnyTAG NFC (on a side note, this is developed by M'sian developer).

Put your IC on the back of your phone. Something should pop up. You should hear some sound also if you din install the app.

Oops... Not an OPO owner but came here to see what's going on in this thread biggrin.gif

Called them earlier the lady answered claims no stock. I wonder they have ready stock not? It would be waste of petrol to go all they way there to find out they don't have the stock.
