guys.. i think i need to sent my phone to nokia centre to check my phone condition la...

looks like it was sluggish (more like running single core) and dying battery....phone age is around 6-7month only...

hard reset doesnt help? if yes then yes ..sent to SC

No issues for me after the Denim update.
Battery also seems alright, even when I on LTE most of the time while browsing, whatsapp, fb and instagram.

My battery took a whack after the upgrade. My guess is Denim, needs to re-calibrate the battery in order to read the battery charge/discharge level.

Will wait couple of days more of charge/discharge to see if it stabilizes

i prefer send to sc direct because i suspect the battery also dying.....


last night i noticed that even plugged to wall charger and using the phone for wechat.....the battery level dropped....

and it lags a lot in certain area especially in my massive-loaded whatsapp, opening picture album in whatsapp, opening contact and several part where it require heavy task....

Mine dropped as well, when plugged in and using Waze. Normally the charge level would be higher than the discharge.

But after couple of recalibration (discharge/charge) battery seems to be better, but still not in the original state...so I'm still gonna run couple of those in the coming days

i'm resetting my phone....

waiting for verification code to arrive...damm why taking so long...

any 1020 to be letgo? ..haha

I'm still using mine though, and I think i'll just keep it if I am gonna change to a new one

no way...i bought for the camera...and loving it

do check out at garage sale...now and then there are people who sells them...thats how I got mine

update....after hard reset....it works all good again like new....battery life,charging rate also back to 30-40%/hour range.. (before reset stuck at 20%/hour rate max)


and its good to see so many free space....hahaha

now downloading all the apps again.... (atleast sms and all phone setting incling wallpaper etc etc restored) just whatsapp history gone...yet the whatsapp group still remain....




i think the main problem is because of DP with so many installed update...all those update package stuck somewhere where we cant delete it in the phone...taking too much memory resource....hard reset solve it..but i forgot to backup my latest 2months photo collection(*which is the most valuable since got many new interesting photo memory ) ....

How is it so far? WHats your discharge rate now compared to Cyan?

after denim..i reset the phone and back to DP and cyan (altough the firmware/os number match denim)

battery back to normal.....(on idle phone locked for long time discharge rate is 0.0% (locked more than 3 hour night time till morning)

camera faster and everything seems loading quite fine (normal)


just now rolled back DP...still no denim (firmware matches denim and phone up to date )

Mine after couple of discharge/charge it improved but nowhere as Cyan.

On Cyan my discharge was around 2.XX% and during heavy usage max was around 4% but on Denim averag is around 4% and it goes close to 6-8% during heavy whatsapp usage...sigh....

I had been traveling these 2 months...so not going to mingle with it till April.

during cyan.... my discharge if idle around 2-3%....charge from 20%-35%.....max discharge mine goes up to 14-16%


now with cy-nim (cyan name but denim firmware number) discharge idle 1% (or sometimes 0%) last night charging rate goes up to 42% (and hover around 35%) max discharge still remain pretty much around that...

my term of heavy usage is open-whatsapp,uc browser and a few other task at the same time

Updated to Denin this morning. Seems ok. Camera no changes - still slower than my 1520. With patience, worthwhile update.
