that's weird, US region , US language , US Keyboard , restart your devices and cortana will appear , have you check your apps list "C" as it won't appear on Start Menu unless you pin it.

I have sorted it out. I forgot about the Language setting (my default was Malaysia English, followed by US English). I cancelled Malaysia English, and all sorted out.

I have test all the app + download most app on M$ store, NO issue at all. Test Nokia Camera with 5mp + 34mp, twitter, FB, games on NL1020.

why lumia1020 no sd slot...

Hello guys, seeking help here. Anyone (I wish no one) encounter faulty micro usb port on their Lumia before? I mean it will connect/disconnect with the slightest movement of the cable. No problem as long as I don't move the cable. Tried changing cable same result which lead to this conclusion. So, can be repaired with warranty? Any idea the cost and repair time needed?

Looks like you will need to service the micro usb port. This is due to frequent movement of your handset while you charge the phone. Gotta admit the micro usb is pretty fragile. My house pureview 808 suffered the same fate.
