Cheap cable the cable output is about 500 to 1000 mah Average good u can get 1200-1400mah. The Nokia cable I have is at 1800mah. The cable I bought from brotan also output at 1800mah He selling at rm20 Higher output meaning faster charging?

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 31 2014, 06:07 PM) Yes, but there always a minimum and maximum output but with original charger and cable it should be maximum the only concern is when you are buying additional cable or replacing. Every cable got their output ma if you have high capacity battery you will notice. I have many original nokia cable from my previous model i can tell you that their cable are the best even 5 to 6 years old i get fixed 1800mah when charging any device unlike samsung cable cheap quality 6months the cable can spoil. So if usually u charge 1800mah take 2 hours or the power will fluated means sometimes 1000 sometimes 1200 sometimes 1400 You use cheap cable 1000mah that same charging could take 3 to 4 hours. You want to know what is your charging for your phone check your nokia charger it will state there so if your charger output 2amps but your cable is 1amp then it will output 1amp Original charger and cable usually maximum output. Lastly not necessary you buy branded cable its 2amps sometimes could be less you need to check the power output. Thanks. What prev model nokia u used, bro? Maybe can google the model and cable name/type.

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Apr 14 2014, 09:32 PM) Good good. Been asking her a lot of questions! The only thing bad I heard is that some still don't have Cortana for some reason.. which idk why. Heard might lose the warranty if anything goes wrong. But when OTA is out you can update to that. I love the notification centre so I can't live without it. Hmm that's odd.. Anyway, want to try the usb connection to tv via mhl cable but waiting patiently for 8.1 hope it works

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Apr 21 2014, 01:00 AM) Good luck waiting. Those instant notifications, notification centre, and no more miss notification is great. Faster, more responsive, extra options, additional feature and Cortana is great. Should just update it now. The poison is strong with this one.. hands itchy to update but patiently waiting for it to come (before raya perhaps?)

Why is Whatsapp being acting strange these few days?
1. notifcations doesnt come in as instant as before, whereas my iphone 5s gets it.
2. opening the apps takes WAY LONGER than usual.. sometimes it crashes back to the home screen.
Anyone facing same prob recently?

Turned off the background task for Whatsapp, restart phone, now phone is smooth. QUOTE(peter32 @ May 6 2014, 02:01 PM) It happened to me once 2 days ago, which was never occurred when my OS was windowsphone 8. After the auto shut down, the date and time was changed (go check your handphone), which messed up the messaging data etc. It is quite certain that its due to the OS 8.1 issue. My handphone was always in battery saving mode, which turn off almost all the background functionality. So its unlikely to be due to whatsapp etc.. Hope that helps. I'm on 8.0 and never updated to 8.1, and whatsapp has been buggy these few weeks. So, yeah whatsapp not causing the random reset etc. Now just leaving whatsapp as it is, cant open nor reply etc. If open, phone will lag, and have to restart manually to get back smoothness.

QUOTE(ulwan25 @ May 19 2014, 09:32 PM) My friend bought around RM1.6k in Jordan this month. I bought for RM2.4k last March >.< and yeah Sony sucks big time. Cybershot phones were their last good camera product. Yep. Honestly satisfied with the updates that Nokia had bring to L1020. Better and better. But I hope Lumia Cyan would give us the raw-ish photos like N8 and 808PV did. I don't want no post-processing images, it kills my eyes Last march? I bought it at that price last nov at Aeon Bukit Tinggi's Nokia Shop.. thought the price has dropped since?

QUOTE(chaukeng @ Jun 12 2014, 12:05 AM) Hey, just grabbed myself a second hand unit here, coming from a pv808 user. Amazing camera. What type of screen protector u guys are using? One that fits nicely with the curved screen? Im thinking of grabbing a glass screen protector but feedback doesn't seems nice. I bought a nillkin matte casing, it comes with a clear screen protector. Not 100% covers the entire black surface, but it does cover ever part, minus the front light sensor and front camera.
