shouldn't be full coolant. Most car coolant mix with water.Coolant is corrosive agent.

What exactly is the coolant thingy? I actually just did the oil and filter change though, but no mention of coolant by the service center...

Yalor, thats what happened to that junky BMW... We went up genting in three cars and my bro was driving the Beemer... The next day, after the "stress" of going up- and downhill, the BMW overheated and broke down as i was using it to go for appointment...
So inconvenient as i had to wait in the hot sun for the roadside assist ppl to check on the car (my company also does car assistance service, btw)... Turned out that it was a major radiator problem that required servicing and cost more than 1k! |

Thats y luckily i sold the BMW off before the car starts to kill me financially! Anyway the Gen2 is far cheaper to maintain, plus having a smaller fuel tank will mean less pricey gasoline...

when proton say gen2 must use 100% coolant dont be confused... their coolant is already premix with water so thats why they say 100% coolant...

yep...
proton use premix coolant for our cars but they say its 100% coolant. this also usually applies to continental cars such as renult and citreon which uses valeo coolant that comes in premixed packs. there is also coolant that u have to mix with one part or two parts water depending on ur vehicle specs. btw, dont even think of putting 100% non premix coolant in your car. coolant colour is usually red or green. the green is ususally the normal one that are used on many cars however toyota came up with the red one which is long life coolant... note that i say usually cause its better not to judge it by its colour.... |
