under the sae, under the sea.... heehee, cheer up bro, old one dont go new one wont come, thats how i think of my exessssssssss..... may they regret later in life (well, some already do tongue.gif). i regard myself as a good fish tongue.gif
today took delivery of my GF's myvi tongue.gif, i think i will be using it a few days, first impressions were quite good.

only things were:
1. doors dont close easily (but alighment all ok)
2. opening the rear boot got "nyeeeek" sound (some wd40 will help)
3. the passenger door panel is not that stright near the window line, slight bulge (but i dont care la, see carefully only will notice)
4. alighment all out!!! (funny, but will go do alighment tomorrow.
5. the car jack got no PROPER mounting points so it rolls around. maybe tie with rafia string tongue.gif
and quite pissed off becoz
1. the damn car got interior light dimmer!!! my 55K car don have
2. the car no rattles (cannot be said about my 55K car when new)
3. the cars Noise Level while crusing is so much more silent than mine when stock!!!
4. overall build quality is better than proton's..... but plastics more or less the same although textures are better.
5. and it got 4, yes FOUR, cupholders, my passengers got to hold their own cups!!!

ok. better stop here or else gen2 thread become myvi thread  tongue.gif

only thing for the gen2 is that it handles better, the myvi feels a bit mushy and soft... heehee. AND I STILL LOVE MY GEN2!!!!
rclxm9.gif

thx for the advice...btw haha i have driven & sat in myvi b4...agree wif u hehe myvi is more to a practical car...handling haha way nono...hehe how abt performance? i think it shouldn't have the kick like gen2 rite? hehe

sorry to butt in,

campro engine, if u dont whack it nicely after getting the car...
later down the road, u will feel the car is sluggish...

try whacking the car and see, you can feel the difference....

ps- i am talking from neo owners comparison... since its the same engine, somehow it should be slightly the same...

just an example..
my manual 1.6 stock engine has 100BHP on wheels..
another friend manual 1.6 light mod engine has only 88BHP on wheels..

even with 5th gear at 50 km/h, my car speed can still climb quite fast....

after some fact finding, he drive like an "auntie" while i redline my car 3 days after having it and have been shifting at 6k rpm regularly for the past 3 months (own the car since jan 2007)

FC is RM 70 - slightly over 420km.. current milage is 7.8k km...

haha u know y? dats the power of Siemens EMS 700 doh.gif any1 of u guys using unichip or any other piggy back adi?

wait lah this weekend if god give me another sign... haha... then only got $$ to buy a pipercross airbox
*
haih no need to go to pipercross airbox so extreme ler...go custom make a airbox (there is alot option out there mugen type -this setup does not required u to relocate the batt) buy a open pod filter relocate ur battery to near abs area & put the hose to ur foglight area then nicely done up CAI adi & do not use chapalang hose from the throttlebody to ur custom airbox go custom a stainless steel hose to the airbox....rmr the airbox must have opening abit do not enclosed the wholebox up.. thumbup.gif

haiyo, wanna change the batt position to beside the strut tower ahh, but just wondering if there is anything that needs welding? i mean the batt base/tapak how? or is it just like relocating screws and doing simple brakets

Added on March 22, 2007, 10:22 pm

haha, any numbers to buy? maybe we can have a pool and win more tongue.gif haha, everybody untung
*
i'm not sure hehe but when i do already i will show u a picture or so on....mayb u can go gen2club there search for ethan (same with sun setup) /sun (airbox near reear light area) / hahf (mugen box setup) / moe (annaconda setup with stock airbox) to see clearly...if i do i will relocate it because of the heat is so much lesser in that area because of our radiator fan is not blowing the box directly....

icic... u wanna recocate to the back izzit, i think thats a better option than putting it beside the strut tower... then got more space for other stuff tongue.gif,
yeah and heat is terrible la... maybe insulate it with some insulating material will be good if i ever get an aftermarket airbox

for me i cannot do it now, have to use the car often so got to keep it in order, LOL... Not like last time, half the car is in the house also nevermind... haha
*
haha yeap agreed relocate to the back is good provided if u got the buck to buy the dry cells...MF free batt is not gonna work c'z it does still have some fume coming out from the batt as it's still water type....& the cost of it....no nit to mention haha.....cabling alone also cost almost my whole airbox setup adi haha....true true hehe insulating material will be good but asr ceramic coat is better hehe if got the final statisfied extractor then do it...to reduce the amount of heat in engine bay... thumbup.gif but if can custom a carbon fibre airbox is the best ler sweat.gif
