those heli looks great. i don't collect heli but the size and details very impressive.
plus you guys mention its diecast even better
Based on my experience buying the Bond car collection, they will give the freebies if you subscribe/buy any 6 issue, so can actually choose what you like. The only problem is that there is no list for future issue for this series.

The freebie have even better quality then the chinook, worth to subscribe.

The yellow helicopter is from which issue ? Looks Huge !!
I know you guys are mainly collecting it for the models but don't you find the quality of the magazine itself has gone down a notch? The paper quality of the F1 magazine was very nice. Tanks was so-so. The jets saw a noticable drop. The Bond cars weren't too bad but the helo ones! Very lightweight paper, no body at all. And i haven't even touched on the contents inside. In the 80's when they had these type of collectable magazines (without models) they were chocker-block full of info. Now with the exception of the F1 magazine most of the mags are pretty light on information. Well at least IMHO. What about you guys?

sigh...looks like bread and maggie mee for the next month
i don't collect heli but this new series is hard to resist...the size and details.
just asking, since their office only hv until issue 3, can i buy 3 issues first and then buy the balance when they arrive..can they still give me the free gift if i keep the previous receipt?
really don't feel like paying them advance money first...wonder if that is possible..

Hi guys, i have a query. If we do subscribe for 10 issues with advance payment, must it be 10 issues in a row i.e issues 1-10, or can we opt for 10 issues of our choice?
Thanks for helping, because this is my first time dealing with Allscript.

I have to stop now the size of it although in 1:72 scale eats up a lot of my space that considering with CTC and my books in every nook and cranny of my room
watching the list on the links you guys give, i'm ecstatic to find out that Scout is in the list. that one is hard to find.... the only kit released for that model is Airfix, out of production alrdy.... gonna buy 2 and make one with TLDM markings.
dont't know if the same model comparison with FOV and EasyModel which will better? may be in future some one will do the comparison at here.
from my opinion easy model have very same detail like the real one.. but it made from plastic same like the scale model plastic like tamiya, revell or italeri. easy model helicopter don't have stand include
by the way italeri 1/100 have the Kamov K-52 Alligator ... (sorry out of topic)

Dear Buddies, among all the helis, which are the biggest ? Thank you .
are you going to ask this kind of repeating question everywhere on allscript related thread?
why dont you use google to search for all the heli photos...or even check the first page where some people already post the link of upcoming helis even us here google around for the photos
the magazine just out locally until issues 4....none of us here knows which one will be the biggest also
sorry to say this but its kindda getting annoying, when you keep on posting asking the same question over and over without doing any own search

cant google at (mother place? mother block google? ) but i do believe you know how to click this link right
....also i do believe that almost everyone here already know about your "limited funding"...as you been repeating mentioning this everywhere from plane to tank to helicopter to 007 thread
also lastly....sorry again as my word are harsh...but i been reading your same comment everywhere in allscript related thread for some times already and seeing some other member getting annoyed with your impatient question asking

Hi all, I just update and edit the first page of the topics. feel free to have a check and if any wrong information add, do info me to re-edit. Thanks.
don't know why it so flat in one colour... the wheels, rotor blades, machine gun... all same colour... but is a must have stealth copter, and the only diecast of this kind. hope when it arrive to us won't be so flat.

see like Comache is smaller than Apache... by the way 7e is still sell issue 1 Helli magazine and issue 44 for fighter aircraft...
so they did the helicopter version too? too bad this gonna take lot of space to display
Warship collection is next? I would love to collect battleship to display along with tank and plane
In terms of the coming warship collection magazine, I am suspecting that AllScript might be bringing in this series originally from Eaglemoss Japan. The name of the magazine should be Warship of the World. The magazine is now being brought into US under William Tell as the distributor.

The helicopter models looks much better than the fighter aircraft mag model. Is bigger, 1:72 vs 1:100, and the details are much better even both are from amer.

this also is one of my 3 wanted helicopter so far (chinook, comanche and helix) but the color of comanche really weird

from some pictures of this thread, i think i may mistakenly assemble the rotor
and i just found that there's another helix in 1 of the 4 free gifts (and the free gifts quite nice actually ) is it really subscribe 10 issues for RM250
when is issue 5 the Sea Knight coming out? feel ages already..hehe
this is what I see on FB fanpage last week AllScript office. ya the helicopter magazine already arrived to Issue 8, but don't know it will follow UK issues list or not. and what I heard is not open for sell for latest issues. may be Issue 5 will be sell on this week.
just started my helicopter collection... and yes, it's HUGE! generally okay detailing but the landing gears totally devoid of details (but for rm29.90, it's definitely value for money). dunno whether it's just me but i kinda feel that the hc1 chinook is off scale as it looks the same length as the ch149 cormorant. the chinook should be much larger than the cormorant by approx 10cm. the cormorant is 2281cm vs chinook's 3010cm and at 1:72 scale should be 31.68cm and 41.80cm respectively?

No mistake I think. FlyingMule model size info: http://www.flyingmule.com/products/AM-ACHY14 Boeing Chinook HC.Mk 1 ~ Length: 16.5"(inches) = 41.91cm (wiki length info) 3010 cm ÷ 72 = 41.8055555556 cm
FlyingMule model size info: http://www.flyingmule.com/products/AM-ACHY19 AgustaWestland CH-149 ~ Length: 10.75"(inches) = 27.305cm (wiki length info) 2281 cm ÷ 72 = 31.6805555556 cm
it all over a little, so the scale ... I thinks still ok... may be AgustaWestland CH-149 is over scale...
This post has been edited by strikermac: May 5 2014, 12:46 PM
strikermac, perhaps it's the end-to-end rotors that makes all the difference? the chinook sure has quite a fair bit of rotor overhang compared to the cormorant. but somehow they still don't appear proportionate in comparison

nice..so they got until issue 8..time to collect my 5, 6, 7 and 8 subscribe issues...wonder what will it be..
sigh... thought i could collect issues 5-8 yesterday as i had a meeting near allscript's office then, but the meeting dragged on till after allscript's business hours
so anyone has received their issues 5-8 yet? do the models follow the uk series? looking forward to the cobra and tiger...
This post has been edited by WingNut: May 8 2014, 10:50 AM
blackhawk got into aerial combat with the apache kah? yeah... the the pins are kinda miniscule and you'll probably have to devise your own bracket to hold them together, but not so authentic already lor...
alternatively, can get replacement from allscript?
too little 'surface' for it to stick. Its the part where you connect the rotor blade to the body.
Maybe I'll tried fabricating an attachment parts...but its to small to 'print' properly.
I had a simillar problem with my Mi-24. The little protrusion on the rotor (for the rotor blade to connect to) patah. I used cement glue to fix it. Held them together for quite a long time. It fixes after a good time to itself
any of you guys had a small black loose hooked shaped piece with their tiger model? wondering where it's supposed to fit in. initially thought that it was part of the wheel assembly... but they're complete.
trust me, it's worth making that trip to allscript instead of hunting for the mags all over town. i did that with the fighter aircraft and lived to regret it missing out on a couple of issues and when i finally got my butt to allscript, no more stock already. the apache longbow happens to be one of the more in demand chopper... kinda like the f18 was for the fighter aircraft collection.

Well said WingNut. I used to do the same mistake for almost two years until the recent trip to allscript. By going to allscript not only you can get ur mags early, you can get them in large amounts as well.

Just to share my experience here with Allscript. Many years back, i started collecting this magazine called Air Combat Collection with models from Italieri i believe (RM6.90 only first issue, subsequently 9.90). After getting tired of chasing issue after each issue around town, i went to their HQ(old HQ before they shifted) and made a subscription. Mind you, back then their HQ is just a two level factory lot with the office upstairs, and stock storage downstairs. So i was told that if i want the models fast, i could place a subscription and will be notified when the magazines arrive to go straight to the office to collect.
And so i agreed to go to the office to collect direct, instead of having to wait further for the items to be delivered fortnightly via post. And what a mistake that was to rely on them.
1. They NEVER EVER called to notify me. I have to make calls monthly just to ask if the new stocks have arrived.
2. Towards the end of the issuance, i was busy and was away from KL. Thinking that a subscription would secure my issues, i waited for them to call me to notify me when the stock arrive. However, the call never came. And when i'm back in KL, i went to the office to collect the last 6 issues. To my DISAPPOINTMENT, i was told they ran out of two issues because they fully sold them out! What the hell! And to top it off, i was told they couldnt restock because the factory was burnt down in the UK where the mag is published. I couldnt verify to this day if their bullshit is true. What i know is i missed out on two planes (one of which is the AH-1 Cobra which i really liked) which i saw other collectors have. This remains a very sore point in collecting this series.
And this has made me shun Allscript ever since, which is also the reason why i have never collected anything related to allscript ever again.
However, when i saw the Helicopter Magazine brought in, i was tempted again (one reason is because the AH-1 and AH-64 is in the series, which i left out from Air Combat Collection). Deep inside, I hoped Allscript improved to be better after all these years, but having seen your comments, i have a gut feeling i'm in for another round of Allscript's bullshit again. Case in point is when i have Issues 1-3, but somehow am still struggling to locate issue 4 even after the so-called 'fortnight' period.
I do hope that fellow collectors here just keep a lookout for each other since we're in this together, whether we prefer retail purchase or subscribing.

Same experience here and the same bullshit given. There was no factory burnt down or anything. Just an excuse to make you feel better. The issues missing are actually the AH-1 Cobra and the Tornado. They just ran out of stock. Then added that you cannot get refund but substitute it with other available issues.
Now allscript is a little bit better because they have better personnel, so far, (fingers crossed). But I don't get their issues via subscription delivered by post. They tend to push crappy issues without QC. I end up going to Allscript anyway to exchange them. Like everyone here tells you, get it direct from the office. I pity those who subscribe from outside Kelang Valley.
Unlike Air Combat, the FAC has got a lot of small plastic bits, making them more likely to break and detach. You need a lot of DIY on your side. But on the whole, they are OK considering they price you pay. The downside being the two different scales you have to contend with. But FAC has already ended / ending , but not without its issues of skipped and missing issues at the retails. Have to make another trip to Allscript again....
As for the helicopters, it's a bargain to get those at one fixed scale and they are bloody big as well... They do have their own problems as well, like off color scheme and inaccurate details and lines, but on the whole I would advise to subscribe for the 1st ten issues to get the free gifts and then choose your favorites...
Hope this helps and I think you should also follow the helicopter collection forum here for more views and details.
Still have long long way to go. Cuz we go in fast till Issue 8, the rest sure need wait. And the... UK list haven't finish yet, still go on. If refer to Amercom website, we still got another Apache AH-64A in future list. If total all the Helicopter will release around 46 issues (without free gift), but don't know Allscript will skip or not.

i read in UK forum the collection stop at issue 40.. as for list from amercom website.. total for all collection will be 52 issue.. as we already got 4 freegift heli.. we only get 48 issues...
issue#9 lynx issue#11 huey issue#19 super cobra/viper issue#24 mangusta issue#27 puma issue#30 super puma issue#32 comanche issue#38 havoc
dunno whether the apache will make its debut in the malaysian series but judging from the uk series, it's quite possible since they have both the puma and super puma (but then again, that's because it's the uk).

just worried that Allscript might messed it up only
mebbe like what others said... high demand at allscript office that they didn't have enough to send out to the retail stores. don't think they're skipping. perhaps waiting for restock before they send out since i don't see any other issues (issue#5-#8) out there either.
haha... strangely me quite the opposite. when i first saw the blackhawk, eventhough it was only rm9.90, i didn't bother getting it. perhaps it was out of my frustration not being able to get my hands on the latest fac issue then (the bookstore manager said, "why don't you buy this helicopter mag instead" after having gone back to the boostore for the third time in as many weeks and being told for the third time that no new issues for the fac had arrived). to be honest, don't quite fancy choppers...
it was only when i went to allscript's office to get the fac issues and saw the other HUGE choppers in the series that i thought it wasn't such a bad deal after all. but by then all the blackhawks had been sold out. although ambika did mention that they will be bringing in additional stock, i'm not holding my breath, especially not after i read about our comrades' experiences dealing with allscript in the past. they may yet surprise me though... but the blackhawk did not make an appearance in my last shipment from them.

quite risky also, later they sell it to someone else intead of shipping it to you
haha... true also! then i lor... another missing link in my collection. but may go for selected models after my first 10 issues subscription fulfilled...

me too, after 10 issues subscription i will also go selective as i'm only interested in military helis. not those commercial or rescue ones.
I saw but what im telling you just now is there are more of those commercial and rescue helis more than military helis. Which is disappointing.
not that many military choppers out there anyway, and even fewer attack choppers... and they generally have long production lifespans. the choppers have rather distinct roles from fixed wing aircraft, so i guess it is only natural that they ended up in sar/logistics ops.
but i'm not really familiar with choppers. mind sharing what other models you were hoping to be included in the series? personally, i'm satisfied with what's on offer according to the uk edition (although i would've preferred the apache and the apache longbow compared to the puma and super puma).

all the models i want is already in the UK issues ex: Issue 9: Agustawestland Lynx Issue 12: Bell UH-1 Huey Issue 13: Piaseki H-21 Shawnee Issue 19: Super Cobra/Viper Issue 24: A129 Mangusta Issue 27: SA330 Puma Issue 30:Super Puma/Cougar Issue 32: RAH-66 Comanche Issue 34: Kamov "Helix" Issue 36: MIL "HIP" Issue 38: Mi-28 Havoc Issue 39: Sikorsky Seahwak Issue 40: MH53
I might consider somemore but most likely the rest which i didn't state above I am most likely not interested in them.
Guys, Do you have any trouble fixing the apache blade? I can't fit it in, its quite lose, looks like need to use glue.
inside the magazine did said if needed can use some glue on it. depend to yourself. such like Issue 8 "Eurocopter Tiger" surely need glue to fix the blades.
my eurocopter tiger didn't have any problems with its rotors, but i had problems with my mil mi4a rotors. nothing a little glue couldn't resolve, though. guess the problem is not model dependent, but item specific.
there is up to issue 10 in Allscript all are available except issue #1 which is OOS. they just re-ordered issue #1 so you'd have to wait.
Im buying selective issue's, gotta say the Apache Longbow is a thing of beauty!
i suppose the lynx (issue #9) and the whirlwind (issue #10) are up next?
yups, that's what ambika told me about issue #1 too... the oos part. as for just reordering, she told me that too... early last month. so they've either only just re-ordered, or it's all a whole lot of bull hoping that the retailers return some (hopefully undamaged) for her to include in my next shipment (hopefully too she doesn't resell it to other walk-in customers).
agreed... the apache has always been my favourite chopper! damn ganas looking.

ah you dont have issue 1?
thats what ive been told too. and you're right on the choppers. resisting the urge to start collecting this, really have no space already
prob will look for issue #1 if i can find it and stop there for RM9.90 thats super value!

ya la, silly me. the guy at the bookstore i usually went to kept telling me issue #1 only rm9.90 wor. and i said i want my fac (no new issues for two whole months), not start a new collection. a trip to allscript changed all that...
and yes, 1:72 choppers seriously eat up your display space in no time. at max i can fit in five choppers on a billy bookcase shelf (it's a little better if there are no doors. you can let the rotors protrude out that way). but got myself a couple of detolfs already... just need to find the time to assemble them.

I feel your pain! was so tempted to subscribe to the choppers but really better not i felt..
my next one prob is Bell UH1.
Cant wait to do an Arnie impression in Predator "GET TO DA CHAPPPAAARRR" once i assemble it.
Wow, more issues coming in! That's good! Still havent got time to go get issue 4 yet tho haha.
But seeing the helicopters they have, it's just such a pity the Hind and Ka-50 is given as a free gift. Would be nice to get a Magazine copy of those two helis together with the collection.
Am personally a fan of the whole Soviet vs US thing!

hehe... that's called marketing! 'wise nobody wanna subscribe ma. but i know what you mean... the free gifts should also come with their corresponding magazines. with the fac it was different coz the free gifts were from a different collection, but with the helicopter collection, the free gifts should've come with their magazines.

I've decided not to assemble the rotors to save some display space. But still not enough space to accommodate all the models that I have. Some of them ended up being stored in boxes for now.

that thought did occur to me too... but without the rotors, the choppers look emasculated. the cobra with its double bladed rotor is the easiest to display. at the moment i had to rearrange (read: squeeze) all my fac's to make way for the choppers. they're really really huge...
The local 7E Puchong here didnt have any of the Helicopter Magazine at all, till about 2 weeks ago 1 issue 3 came. The sole issue 3 is still there i believe. I think it's due to complications in distribution which ultimately led to this.
Oh, and i finally got an Apache! Got it from a magazine store in Midvalley called NZ (near Rotiboy, i believe a forumer here got it there too). Was the last one, go figure!

exactly. tiba tiba u will see issue #3 appear... then silence. later it'll probably be issue #6. i gave up on 7e ages ago... but the retail bookstores were hapless too (as i suppose it was an allscript distribution issue rather than the bookstore issue).
yups... i think it was judge-the who spotted the apache at mv. last issue but hopefully without issues.

Was abit skeptical about getting it at first because the rotors and the Longbow radar was all over the packaging. Asked the shopkeeper if it's alright if i open the plastic bag wrapping the mag to get a clearer look of the model inside the box, he said no. So i used abit of kung fu to shake it here and there to ensure all the parts are inside in good condition. Just got it fixed, and it's perfect fit, didnt even need glue for the rotors
Btw, my issue 2 back then came with only 4 instead of 5 rotors. Took it back to Popular to exchange, and was told they normally send the defective ones back to Allscript. Wonder what they do with it at Allscript haha

when i was there, that nz newsstand have 2 sets of issue4
izzit just me or are the helicopter collection releases generally slow (kinda like one issue per month)? or izzit my perception since first time subscribing (they ship four issues each time so 4x2=8 weeks before next shipment?).
Issue 4 is no more already in the office, but the rest still available... Now promo is if you buy 8 issues, they will give one issue extra for free and the 4 free gifts - chopters... Just found that out yesterday while at Allscript to complete FAC. No more F-14, A-10 and Stuka left. So stoping with the FAC collection as it is...

I really do hope they allow us to choose which 9 issues we want for that promotion. If they do, i'm going for the promotion for sure. I dont mind paying in advance. Can anyone confirm if this is possible?

I tried asking that, but she don't give. Keep saying you take 5 onwards, all the way up to 12, then you can get one extra free issue (13) and the 4 free gifts...
So end up I didn't subscribe anyway. I will be choosing only the attack choppers... So sorry no Hind and Alligator...

I think the only way, call them and ask about it. But I see that day still got boxes of helis lying around, except I couldn't see any issue 4 though, informed later that no stocks already..

For binders, I just use the standard 2-ring file from the bookshop
patutle gua punya subscription tak sampai sampai. subscribed up to 10 issues only... remaining 2 issues not covered. hehe. my bad.
Hahaha would've been so funny if you made that trip to Allscript and start questioning them why so slow and all, only to be told 'sir, your subscription finished already no?'

but still can send me issue #9 and #10 what. itu pun tak nampak bayang...
sigh... actually me also thinking of giving up on this collection and only keep the models i like. i must say the 1:72 scale sure is eating up a lot of cabinet space...
Anyone giving up and is keen on letting go their Mi24 and Ka50 do let me know Haha!
haha. ok... will let you know if i decide to let go. still have the blister pack... i think. but i must've ripped the pack open in my haste to get at the models.
Guess they're slowly appearing in retail then! Will definitely try to tie one down asap. Hopefully no repeat of the chaos of Issue 4
my issue 6 cobra very bad workmanship. both side wings not balance at all if view from the front. tail section have gap at the connector. make sure you check properly
Managed to get the Cobra from Popular@Sunway Pyramid. 3 issues are still available.
To my best ability, i chose the nicest Cobra, but still ended up with one that has slightly off centre skids, as well as a wrongly attached pitot tube which i had to snap off to reattach.

Hi there, would like to ask if you have the subscribers' free gifts up for sale as well (if you're a subscriber). Thanks!
BTW, if anyone looking for issue 1, there are a lot at MPH of NU sentral (i saw it at least 10++ issue 1 there today) but no sight of issue 4 there...
Just adding on to that if you are in KLCC and need to find the Blackhawks check out Kinokuniya as they have had a restock of issue #1. They also have a whole load of them and the Wessex HU5. There were a few AH-1 Cobras on Friday but didn't see them by Sunday.
yups... gotto go hunting in the future, but in my favourite hunting ground: allscript office. hehe. 48+4 models sure got no space wei... guesstimate need min 10 shelves! how nice if the rotors could be positioned like this:

What exactly is Taobao? The Osprey looks neat especially if it can fold as shown. Is the HP no listed a MY number?
Sorry make you confuse. This actually off-topics stuff, not related. The TaoBao"淘宝" actually is China "e-bay" online shopping website. If don't know how to make deal with them better don't, cuz even deal with cheap price, when the parcel arrived to Malaysia, will get "Customs duties" mean taxes in high if unlucky. The HP number sure is China number, don't call it. OK, off-topics talk stop here, apologize for the confuse. And by the way the Osprey not in the Collection list.

hmm... seems like interest in this collection has cooled down after the first ten issues. looks like most did not continue their subscription with allscript?

yup. because after dealing with allscript for some time, i find them to be unreliable and not punctual. they always ship my orders about a month after the helis arrived in the office and every time I call them to ask the conditions of my helis, the reply is always different. Sometimes it's still in packaging, sometime it's still in courier hands, damn annoying sia.
Other than that, I prefer to go to their office to get whatever issues I want now. Don't trust them to handle my orders for me anymore.
And to be frank, I only go for military helis now. Not so interested in those commercial/rescue helis.

yeah, they sure are tardy when it comes to subscriptions (which doesn't really bode well for business) and the preference for customers to walk in to their office is mind boggling to say the least. don't think they're even responsive to such feedback as they seem set in their ways. oh well...
i'm not surprised if it stops half away. In the UK, it stops at issue 40 while SA stops at issue 33 when its suppose to have about 52 issues. And why did they stop? it's because the publishes are as lousy as Allscript. That's why customers got fed up and not interested in buying the helis anymore.

I see... If like that, I think our MY & SG version sure got no Luck. Juz can pray it at least published all important helis before it stop with no reason.

i tend to agree with you and comrade mikesas1992 on the premature end of the helicopter collection. question is whether we will we get to see the likes of the havoc (#38), comanche (#32), mangusta (#24), super cobra/viper (#19). i think allscript usually brings in 4 models per consignment and would already have/in process issues #13-16. interest is definitely waning but let's just hope they continue bringing in the collection, albeit in smaller numbers.

Ya, at least Attack Helis must publish before it stop. Hope AllScript won't make us down.
just got these from allscript's office this morning: blackhawk and elder brother huey:
by the way, overheard them saying that next consignment (which should be in by early sept) consists of issues #13-#19 but i'm not holding my breath for the viper arriving anytime soon...
Viper! Will dash to go get it if it really arrives next month! Hopefully no repeat of the Apache unavailability problem.
speaking of the apache, there was a whole box full of apaches at their office! my hands itchy to grab a few more but luckily resisted the temptation.
anyway, reason why i went back to allscript was simply because they were supposed to deliver the blackhawk together with my subscription issues... but didn't. that's why i went over instead of waiting and waiting only to be told later that the blackhawks are out of stock and asking me to choose any of the other models instead! true the other models cost rm20 more, but i want my blackhawk ma.

pardon me for asking, but why would you want to buy more than 1 copies per issue? wan build diorama kah?

Wow they must've restocked the Apache.I'd be tempted to grab an extra issue to if i see them How's the Huey btw? Well put together?
Btw, why grab extra issues you ask? Why to sell them at higher costs in the future ofcourse! (Jokes aside, it will be nice at times to display more than one of an aircraft type in a mini 'squadron')

i know exactly what you mean... but i'll only do that with the rm9.90 blackhawks rather than the rm29.90 apaches! simple equation: 1 apache = 3 blackhawks
Allscript still hutang me issue #13 and 4 nos of freebie
issue#13 in already? i didn't see it there last saturday. as for your freebies, if you live in klang valley, better drop by their office to bug them. that's what i did for my issue#1... and they had the cheek to tell me that i said i was going to collect when in fact they sent issues#9 & #10! that's allscript for you. on the other hand, the office looks more organised now...

Guys..anyone wana let go their Apache Issue 4.Cobra Issue 6 and Sea Knight Issue 5..do tell me..im lookin for them..thnks.
elvinkim... if you're living around the klang valley, i suggest you take a drive to allscript's office since they still have stock of those models (better double confirm with them first as my info is more than one week old). otherwise if someone in this forum is going there then mebbe can tumpang. it's unlikely that collectors will let go of specific models, especially the prized apache and cobra. then again, i could be wrong...

the chinook is much smaller than i imagined... especially when compared to an attack helicopter such as the apache! but thanks, strikermac for the comparison chart. it sure does put things into perspective (and give me a massive headache as to where to display my future models!)

NP bro, buy more cabinet will do. Good luck for you then.

actually comrade blu3hamm3r has already given me a solution... but been so lazy to hunt for additional glass shelves/brackets. besides, my helicopter collection is only secondary
Just bought issue 1 from a seller on ebay, found out missing one blade! So, anyone here wants to sell their blackhawk's extra blade for would appreciate it.

That photo you taken of the Cobra is great, what camera you use? Is it nokia 41MB 808 or 1020? Issue#1 is plenty - I get a few and even spray paint it white to make into VIP transport for our PM. I did add the guy in FB military Hobby do sell a lot of easy model. I do order a Amercom B1 Centauro from him as it no in the CTC collection to completed my wheeled tank collection.
No fighting please in here, battlefield is just telling us that military hobby is one of the sources to go for this kind of stuff. He's not bragging about his tanks collection. Be cool.
Be cool everyone. At here we juz talk about collection and something relate on order also accepted, juz don't show too much unrelated collection topics or pics will be OK. Calm down in mind, be friend to everyone ya, cuz we all are collector, cheers.
BTW, info from deathsoul give, issue arrived 13~21 confirmed is follow with UK version. So will be update on 1st page for everyone to reference. Good Hunting Guys. And thanks for deathsoul and "FB collector fanpage" infomation.

Oh ya, another BTW. If the collection continue import in this speed, our local collection is should be end around head of next year or mid of 2015. Cuz this collection sure short, limited issue.
Anyone contacted AllScript to confirm if the new issues are available for purchase already?
I went to collect my issue 13 and free gift at allscript yesterday. We can buy up to issue 21. but there's no more free gift for subscription, no more free 1 issue when subscribe.
Yellow Augusta is out of stock, so they replace mine with apache

One of my FAV, EUROCOPTER DAUPHIN/PANTHER. The only none military I choose.
The only problem... cuz it die-cast, tail are too heavy, so can land properly without "heli stand".

although blue sidewinders are for training purposes only, they sure make an awesome contrast on the viper! and the us coast guard colour scheme on the dauphin is equally impressive!

I see, I dun know about that blue sidewinders is for training purposes. Thanks for the knowledge, mate.

i think the modellers will be able to shed more light on this but if i'm not mistaken, the ring colors around the sidewinders are as follows: blue are inert and brown/yellow is for live (propulsion/warhead). needless to say, an all red sidewinder is universal... it means RUN FAR FAR.
i was there around 3... and by murphy's law, it had to happen! of all the choppers, my viper rotor had to have a defective rotor pin!
Wait, is it too much of a coincidence that mine had the same defect??
Supposedly: 2 Rotors with short rotor pin; 2 Rotors with 'long' rotor pin
My package: 3 rotors with short pin, 1 with long pin.
I solved mine by sanding, with a fine sanding paper, the rotor pin at the hub really gently until the rotor fits in. Remember to mask of the other sections while sanding to prevent any unwanted scratches or paint damages

yttuck... you're right! i didn't even realised there were two different pin types until you pointed it out! i've got the same combo... 3 short and 1 long. considering to have it replaced rather than going through the trouble of sanding the pins. anyway, anyone has any advice as to how the **** do you fix the rotors on the aloutte iii without snapping the pins???

I lucky get my Viper without problem and correct rotor pin. But the... my other collection (tank) they send me was damaged and miss part model without checking. Waiting for replacement... don't know if AllScript will do the rite on this one. Afraid their "service"...

i guess those who got 3 long sockets and 1 short one wouldn't have any problems... it's those with 3 short socket ones that will face assembly issues.
i dunno about you guys but their counter service is excellent. they will tell you to look out for the common defects (if they're not too busy, that is). so i always prefer going over to their office instead of them sending the items over.

Wow! I had the same problem with my set as well! I used sand paper to sand the hubs also, and it was quite an easy fix. Bro WingNut, trust me, it's really an easy fix, you just have to be gentle

You are right about the counter staff, they are indeed very courteous and soft-spoken. Dealt with a very nice Malay lady whom i failed to get her name tho.

no la... wasn't going to make the trip to allscript just to change the viper. i've got issues with my jetranger, dauphin and aloutte too.
