I'm sorry, aware that my previous post was very confusing!
This is actually the more clear version :
First I rooted my S3 for the first time & flashed using TWRP to Galaxy S5 Mini Custom Rom. And then because the rom is too laggy for me, I decided to revert to the original stock rom. As I did not have a backup, I specifically went online to download the official stock rom 4.3 @ sammobile (made sure is the international Malaysian one). I flashed the official stock rom by download mode using ODIN IN MY PC. Everything went well, phone works perfectly for everything. But now the issue is, I am unable to go into TWRP recovery mode even though I have re-rooted my phone after I have flashed the official stock rom, I was wondering could the main reason be that I did not un-root my S3 first before flashing the official stock rom via ODIN. Could this be soft brick?
thank you for your time bro
ok.. now i know how to advise.
1. Once you ODIN to stock 100% sure you will lost your root and you don't need to unroot before flashing.
2. Soft brick = you can't even boot-up the phone
3. Try below:-
i. confirm your root status using root checker. re-root if not root.
ii. use apps like rini reboot, CWM, etc to go into recovery/ download mode. if can't most likely your
recover corrupted. You need to flash back stock to have this mode. if you can go into either, reflash your
TWRP
iii. last resort.. factory reset or go to the entire cycle again. flash stock, root and flash twrp..
