I use mobile odin to flash but you can use TWRP cause it is a zip file.

It has its good and bad points... App developers have to request for the correct permissions now.

For rooted power users on stock, there is still a solution (platform.xml) if you still want to be on stock if ever the 4.4 updates is available for the international S3.

KitKat suppose to have a huge improvement over the earlier version although it has some cons also. Pros and cons I guess.
