Picked mine up from Sony Centre. Came with everything except the cleaning cloth. My lenses did not come with the protective sticker, but the lenses seem to have some residue or smudge on them. Is this normal?
*
Yep, as long as when you put it on, you see nothing should be fine. Apparently it is random, for the sticker. Mine doesn't have it too. Try to use a super clean micro fiber to clean the lens, DO NOT use anything aside from micro fiber. If you aren't ok with it, contact Sony, however there doesn't seem to have a method to register warranty yet, website didn't update with VR.

***EXTRA NOTE FOR EVERYBODY : if you felt that your game is off center, keep in mind that you should be aligned with the left camera lens, not the center of the camera.

No in game language settings. Know how I found out ? Easy, on the PS Menu, when u go to RIGS, below there there is a manual. I already exhausted all resources before that and couldn't change it so i saw the manual and check it. Sony got write there in the table what Spoken and Text language will appear according to ur System Language. Thank godness. I already know before that it can be changed but I just don't know how. Coz during our PSVR Event, the text was in English on my friend's PS4. But on mine was Chinese  biggrin.gif

EDIT : Also worth mentioning, I even uninstalled the game and deleted the saved file before reinstalling. i thought it was a one time language selection during first startup
*
Holy crap man I almost contacted Sony for that or plan to ask the store why i got the chinese version, was pretty mad at first but also curious why the back of the box says English and Chinese. Rigs is so impressive, the intro alone made me go wow multiple times.

To everybody who is wondering why it is blurry or whatever. Well, unless the screen is rendering 4k, you will get blur no matter what VR headset you are on, this is not just a PSVR problem. Even at a higher resolution like using samsung gear and others (2k resolution or 1200p) it is still being magnified to your face, therefore the blur.

Everybody please go and buy Eagle Flight now.
Fantastic game. This is the most surprising game that doesn't give any nausea problems at all and the tracking is on point. The game looks surprisingly good too, not blurry at all and it has multiplayer.

So while the HK Playstation page has an official price for the bundle, aim controller and farpoint, Malaysia only mention the game and not a single aim controller was mentioned anywhere. Please don't tell me they are going to launch the game only in Malaysia...

Haven't mounted my cameras yet to try it... Will upload a video or two once I got it to run later!  rclxms.gif

I think Impulse revealed Farpoint's bundle price and they estimate it around 450-550 for the Aim bundle, the game alone is RM199  cry.gif
*
Wow we got ripped off again. I understand if they charge 450 because they got their stock from US or something, but Hong Kong is selling it for around RM370. So now they are charging 100usd in Malaysia?

US Store 50% OFF sale at the moment for EVE Valkyrie until end of April - $29.99 from $59.99.
Anyway, bought HOTAS 4 last week, just in time for STARBLOOD ARENA next week. For the time being, using it with EVE Valkyrie first.  flex.gif

Is the online active for Eve? Starblood Arena is not launching in Asia this week, might have to wait for R1 too.

Anyone played Mortal Blitz? smile.gif Is it good?

Really on the fence to get that. It is basically Time Crisis in terms of length and gameplay (very short) but with multiple difficulty settings unlock and 50 level training.

Anybody getting Starblood Arena?

Friendly heads up to any local players or generally just Asia region players, if you are considering EVE Valkyrie for the 50% discount, you probably want to skip it.

Spent 3 days with the game online, server is only NA/EU and both are very very active. Almost all matches are 80% players. However the lag is unbearable. High latency making flying around stutters every second. If you are moving in a normal speed, it stutters a little but when you are boosting or chasing other ships, the stutter is insane, causing nausea.

Fortunately I was lucky enough to convince Sony US support for a refund after explaining the situation.

so will that happen to starblood arena?
*
It fully depends on their network structure in the game. If it's p2p, definitely won't, but it will be like Nintendo online game, a lot of bs happening, I still prefer that when it comes to low local player base game.
But since Starblood don't have Asia server now, I would say avoid it until then. The dev confirmed it is coming to Asia soon, they are still working on the localisation.

Do you guys think it's worth it getting psvr.. or so so only. I might get it next time when it's cheaper or when there is v2
*
v2 won't be coming anytime soon, at least not as soon as Vive 2 or Rift 2. Sony is pretty committed to engaging 3rd party.
If you are expecting big games, I would say wait until at least E3 and see what happens, whether Sony will be revealing in-house stuff.
If you aren't okay with indie stuff, then avoid it. PSVR is filled with indie stuff, a lot of Vive games port. I personally love them a lot, some of the shooter stuff or puzzle ones are really good. April is a pretty great month for PSVR, around 8~10 games coming. May is going to be quite big with Farpoint launching and the new Aim controller with 3 games confirmed supporting it so far. Apparently Sony is doing a subsequent game launch with the Aim controller, so there might be more than 3 games for it.
Although, VR games are usually short.

Buy it or not? Personally I just love experiencing a lot of different platform, so i never had a second thought of selling it anytime soon. There's always one or two games weekly that will make me plug it in to play. I will say, the set up is easy enough to pick up and play anytime. It's not like, I have to plug this in, set this up, power that on and stuff.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1356694

this thread is always useful for me, shows all the upcoming games and always updated as soon as anything is announced.

oh also another thing being local player base. This is the only major issue for me. Despite that Playstation Asia saying they are committed to bringing all titles day 1 to Asia during the reveal, they flat out lied about this. Playstation Asia store for VR category is the biggest joke. There's nothing in it, missing at least 50~60 titles I would say, and often multiplayer games doesn't launch here.

So farpoint bundle 80usd might not be available in Malaysia. Game price confirmed with NO mention of aim controller. Hong Kong converted price for bundle is rm370. Last time I asked heavyarms they said estimated 4xx. Impulse still have no idea. Just now asked heavyarms again, guess what, they say at least 5xx.

80usd, they tell me they charge whatever Sony tells them to, RM5xx for 80usd.

Playstation Asia website is dead, all previous press release for price gone. It's like they are trying to burn all evidence.

Funny thing is previously press release included PH, HK, not sure about SG. But Malaysia didn't mention the Aim at all. So either it's a local law or funny things going on with Sony Malaysia. Might have to import it.
