Do you guys think it's worth it getting psvr.. or so so only. I might get it next time when it's cheaper or when there is v2
v2 won't be coming anytime soon, at least not as soon as Vive 2 or Rift 2. Sony is pretty committed to engaging 3rd party.
If you are expecting big games, I would say wait until at least E3 and see what happens, whether Sony will be revealing in-house stuff.
If you aren't okay with indie stuff, then avoid it. PSVR is filled with indie stuff, a lot of Vive games port. I personally love them a lot, some of the shooter stuff or puzzle ones are really good. April is a pretty great month for PSVR, around 8~10 games coming. May is going to be quite big with Farpoint launching and the new Aim controller with 3 games confirmed supporting it so far. Apparently Sony is doing a subsequent game launch with the Aim controller, so there might be more than 3 games for it.
Although, VR games are usually short.
Buy it or not? Personally I just love experiencing a lot of different platform, so i never had a second thought of selling it anytime soon. There's always one or two games weekly that will make me plug it in to play. I will say, the set up is easy enough to pick up and play anytime. It's not like, I have to plug this in, set this up, power that on and stuff.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1356694this thread is always useful for me, shows all the upcoming games and always updated as soon as anything is announced.
oh also another thing being local player base. This is the only major issue for me. Despite that Playstation Asia saying they are committed to bringing all titles day 1 to Asia during the reveal, they flat out lied about this. Playstation Asia store for VR category is the biggest joke. There's nothing in it, missing at least 50~60 titles I would say, and often multiplayer games doesn't launch here.
