Finally dived in a couple of days ago and got in 2 solid hours of gameplay straight!all I can say is,damn man this VR thingy is a game changer
Started out with until dawn, went on to try the underwater simulation (sadly, not the shark one),here they lie,eve valkyrie, and the RE kitchen demo.Happy to report zero motion sickness, tried locomotion and teleportation on here they lie, with no adverse effects, felt like a champ!
Felt a bit shortchanged by the length of some of the demos, but I guess that's what their meant to do,which is nudge us towards purchasing the full version. A couple of questions though:
1. Are the move controllers essential to the whole VR experience? Think I remember one of the demos only having the move option which was required to begin.
2. What's the optimal distance / position to place the camera?
Move controller is extremely important. If you are seating, usually around 1 meter, for standing, around 1.5~1.8 meter. Also focus on the left camera lens.
