But this campaign haven't even started yet how to qualify
*
Not refering to this campaign but It is part of the benefit of CIMB CB Platinum card:
5% Cash Rebate on e-Commerce/ online spend and also 20% Additional Rebate for all airlines. I only got 0.5% CB as other retail tranx for my airline purchase.
What I am saying is they tried to be difficult with their T&C.

The 10% CB promotion valid for agoda booking? As I understand there is some agoda rebate/discount promotion ongoing with Cimb CC as well..:/
*
CS said it is valid with agoda booking and you can get up to 7% off the total amount. Going to book for next year icon_rolleyes.gif

Call the number behind your card and clarify. It should be credited before the next billing.

Been using this card to pay for Taobao transactions last month. My statement came and all of my transactions were not included in the 5% rebate calculation after checking with the customer service.

They told me that it was manually done. I am not sure what does that even mean.
It's about few hundred RM worth of transactions and no cash rebate.

So disappointed.

Never had any problems using the UOB Vox for taobao transactions.

Sent an email to CIMB CS and CC BNM for further clarification

So many limitations.
Don't get me started on the stupid airline thing. If you want to give rebate, just give, don't tell me the MCC can that MCC cannot.

Brilliant planning, lousy execution.

Went thru the T&C, but notice that for this promo, no mentioning off qualifying MCC code, so less restrictive?

Hi all Sifuss, I need help in booking hotel through CIMB campaign.
http://www.cimbbank.com.my/creditcard/inde...pg=cc_lu&ac=17#

Based on the link (campaign tab),

a. Expedia.com.my

10% Upfront Discount (This coupon discount applies only to Expedia Rate hotels for hotel only bookings made online at www.expedia.com.my/cimb)

b. AsiaWebDirect.com

5% Upfront Discount (Quote “CIMB and first 6 digits of Card Number” as the promo code in the payment page to get 5% Upfront Discount)
5% Cash Rebate

c. Asiatravel.com

9% Upfront Discount (Valid until 31 December 2014, visit www.asiatravel.com/cards/cimb-my for terms and conditions
5% Cash Rebate

d. agoda.com

7% Upfront Discount (Log in via www.agoda.com/cimb)
5% Cash Rebate

1. I would like to ask if I book through expedia, do I still get 5% cash rebate because it doesn't mention there but others mention 5% cash rebate?

2. For the AsiaTravel, it mention to key in CIMB9 during payment page, but when I key in, the voucher is invalid.. Anyone has any experience booking through asiatravel?

3. For agoda, is the 7% upfront discount applied automatically if I log in through the agoda.com/cimb? Because I did not see any deduction on the price, whereas other website, they show deduction after the price on payment page..

Thank you in advance.

Maybe PBB VS more suitable for your usage? 6% across any and all online transactions, local and foreign with the exception of those done on pbebank.com only.

No need MCC this or MCC that. Guarantee when you see statement you won't scold MCH also.

http://www.duasen.com/public-bank-visa-signature-review/

My CIMB VS also seldom use, this new cash back campaign only for MasterCard. Zzz
