I applied my card from CIMB-Telemarketer on MARCH 2014. She promised I will get Rm150 cash back. But until now I still got nothing. How long it will take to credit the cash back to my account?

Opinion much appreciated. Thanks.

1. I would like to ask if I book through expedia, do I still get 5% cash rebate because it doesn't mention there but others mention 5% cash rebate?

2. For the AsiaTravel, it mention to key in CIMB9 during payment page, but when I key in, the voucher is invalid.. Anyone has any experience booking through asiatravel?

3. For agoda, is the 7% upfront discount applied automatically if I log in through the agoda.com/cimb? Because I did not see any deduction on the price, whereas other website, they show deduction after the price on payment page..

I thought the 20% rebate on air tickets capped at RM50. which means it is practically useless if ur airticket more than rm250.

ya max cash back is rm50 however for online transaction of 5% rebate u can get a max of rm30 the other rm20 is for 2% petrol/groceries/mobile & utilities autodebit and 0.2% for other categories

Feel so disappointed with the rm30 cap for online transaction 5% rebate..
Basically my cimb cash rebate platinum is useless after rm600 spent..
It's time to look for other card..

recently send CIMB an email regarding my rebate on 20% off for my airlines ticket.
They did not rebate me for air ticket I bought (Mas and Airasia) on july.

They replied me with attached TnC about CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum Mastercard.

telling me No rebate is given on airlines ticket. REALLY WTF. Don't they know 20% off for all airlines ticket are promotional campaign? Now I escalate my issue to the telemarketer officer who sign up this card for me. She triple confirm with me there are 20% off for any airlines ticket I bought when I sign up for this card.

sry for misleading. I mean 3rd transaction is not counted for cashback.
probably the allocation for cashback had long finished before the date since the cap is just Rm100k?

the 20% discount for airlines are calculated based on posting date or transaction date?

No wonder I did not receive my rebate!
My transactions are on 26 Jun, but posted on 28 jun. They consider all cashback for those transaction on next month.

all the time, I assume the 5% cash rebate capped at maximum RM50, obviously there is second level RM30 CAPPED, which is only allow spend for RM600 for online transaction per month.
