I meant, just by looking at the pictures.

hmm.gif This is hard to explain by words, I would always compare them with some pictures from standard layout keyboard, Filco being one of them.
After many times of looking at them, then you'll get used to seeing the size of it, and for sure you'll recognize it right away.

Very unlikely. Low-ish cost means it's plastic case surrounding a plate-mounted switch at most.

Dulu-dulu, ada pinggan belakang. Jadi sepatutnya kini-kini, pun perlu pinggan belakang.

Keyboards with Cherry MX Black switches have a grey case, while keyboards with other switches have a black case. Both top covers are for sale as extras on Cooler Master's web site. Exclusive for the keyboards with the Cherry MX Red, the backplate is painted in red where other variations are black.

it depends on user's preference. though most koreans claims that pcb mount gives them the best feeling.
i personally didn't try pcb mount before. sourcing for cheap new pcb mount switch isn't an easy task nowadays >.<

Plate-mounted switch - mechanical switch is mounted to a steel backplate and then soldered to the PCB.
Since you know CMStorm QFR-i is plate-mounted switch, meaning that it has backplate a.k.a steel plate.

Car bling-bling kena matahari pun pudar. Tak termasuk benda lain lagi. Keyboard bling-bling, sure safe... Unless damaged during gathering. cry.gif

afaik, its possible. pcb mounted has 4 pins (2 mounting pins) and plate mounted is only 2 pins. you can mount plate mounted switches on pcb without the plate, but it just wont be a solid mount... correct me if i'm wrong.. basing all this on guesswork..
