Another question, if let's say I get PCB-mounted switches, is it easy to change from one switch type to another? I just need to swap out the stems and the spring right?

it's definitely easier compared to those using stock plates that doesn't have cutout for switch top cover removing.
but if u have led soldered...u still have to remove the led before removing the switch top cover.
though, there's a mod that will allow u to remove switch top cover without having to remove the led

IIRC should have some space for EL, but will void warranty from day one la.
