shakehead.gif Oh my... got water spilled on before or will definitely happen to any steel board?
Now I'm a bit scared of my Filco already... icon_question.gif

30g, even the brown is way light for me; can't feel the force can probably actuate for several seconds, darn membrane fault!! sweat.gif

You want lighter switches, you get lighter switches. Easy.
*
sweat.gif I feels my MX Brown is already very light compare to my laptop and my previous desktop keyboard, both of them are scissors membrane, I can't be sure how much forces it needs to actuate but I feels they needs heavier force to push it down, probably due to my uses of keyboard protector even thought it's just a thin layer of rubber.
Well, till I got a taste of MX Black or any other switches then I can confirm the actuate force of my scissors membrane. hmm.gif

Just saw the Mechanical line-up for that website you show
CODE
http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-c-2189-0-0-0-36-0-price-0-0_page2.html

Mostly Keycool, KBC Poker, and some Ducky that I know, the rest I'm not sure about its origin, and... mostly ship from China.
No different than tabao and not cheap for the price as well. sweat.gif

Yeah, I plan to get the keycool one, hard to beat at that price (250-ish after promo code)

I'm looking for 60% as well for office use, the laptop membrane really kills my finger right now.
It's the poison of using MX Brown, even this chiclet keyboard is not as comfortable as I type on my Filco + IMSTO keycap. sweat.gif
Not sure of Keycool 84 quality.... hmm.gif

Nah, want the media keys, plus might be carrying it around, so a detachable cable is always nice biggrin.gif
*
How about CM QuickFire Stealth? Also has media keys but the legend is side printed though, and lack of *blink blink*
Last last I still choose Filco, didn't regret don't have media keys, been lived without it since few years ago when I bought my louzy KVM (Dlink KVM can't support extra keys other than 104-key), I just use other unused keys to substitute the media keys.

LOL, yeah, this month only spend over RM700 on MKB and keycaps, initially was to use the MKB "forever" and change keycaps as it wear out or become shiny, lol.. darn poison... sweat.gif
This thing spend faster than I buy audio products.

Just last week I purchased IMSTO Keycaps from hmwgbworld, it's a nice set of keycaps (Cherry profile, Thick PBT, Dye-Sub print) of which I like how it feels when I type, nice touch as well as it doesn't feels too sweaty as oppose to Filco ABS coating.

Now the issue is whenever I tap on the spacebar (not pressing it in), it sounds a rattling sound, quite annoying but if I pressed it in as I type, it's not as annoying as I just simply tap on it, I wonder if slight mod on the stabilizer can help? Or does it have to do with the keycap itself, please enlighten me... notworthy.gif

I guess the rattling is on the right side of the spacebar.

Using scotch tape wrapping the stabilizer as shown in below picture can help to solve this problem of spacebar rattling. It's not related to the keycaps.

I've not heard of BSP actually. Seems they're not too common after a quick Google search.

God tier ABS keycaps? Care to share which one? O.o

Doubt I'll be moving back to ABS, but if I do, there's 2 ABS sets in my store
*
Oh, I sure know how you feel about PBT Thick, plus with Cherry profile, it's one darn nice of keycaps, but mine is just Dye Sub, not Double Shot, I bet Double Shot will cost a boom, probably cost another Filco Majestouch. doh.gif

I like this, nostalgic... blush.gif

Does Double Shot, Laser etched or dye sub affect the typing experience? I don't think so right?
*
Erm, no... but the profile does, Cherry profile has slightly wider top base so (for my case) it's easier for me to type on.
The PBT surface also much nicer compare to Filco coating, less sweaty I guess? hmm.gif
Next profile, DSA? doh.gif

SOS? 100% DIY, some keycaps is slant, but really shiok. shocking.gif
Hopefully people don't hit it like the "normal" one, otherwise the switches won't last few actuation lifespan. sweat.gif

a question, how come the kibot body attract so many fingerprint one? its just plastic right?
*
Oh.. nice... blink.gif missing some LEDs? Or am I seeing other things?
ABS coating will attract sweaty fingers, my OEM Filco has very shiny effects if I stay too long on them sweat.gif well, just wipe them off will do.

uhm, im going to buy my 1st mechanical keyboard, it is seems from the net, the brown switches is good for me.... and thing is, should i go for cm quickfire tk or quickfire pro? or any other suggestion? icon_question.gif
*
Yeap, just as quovadis123 suggested, get Filco if you don't need the LED or the numpad, Filco is one darn solid board, compare to the CM TK which has more keys and stuff (LEDs) Filco TKL is heavier, each key press feels really good even though it's just ABS keycaps (well, keycaps is much later poison).

On other note: I have tried the CM TK, the MX Brown has much more tactile feel, even though it's from the same Cherry switches hmm.gif , does the Filco monster plate makes it so solid that the tactile feels (vibration) doesn't feedback to the keycaps? hmm.gif
Btw, I'm also aiming at CM TK at first but got "cucuk" hard enough to take Filco, darn the "drugs" really works on me... sweat.gif doh.gif
