Hayase, as tachlio said.
set HTT multiplier to 3x or 2x. Your HT link must always keep below 1000 |

Just stick with the core temp.
Or u can try update to latest bios which corected temperature sensor issue. Its normal to have temperature around 46c for each core when at full load. 33c is seem too good to me. For my case, idle with stock heatsink would give me 39/40 |

QUOTE(lucklyghost @ Sep 20 2006, 09:40 AM) so if i play oc and with Full loading ... as long u din raise your vcore too much while overclocking, ur temperature will be around 50c or below 50c.i scare my temp = 58c ... coz now normal use temp already = 48c.....wtf... That's why performance heatsink comes in especially when overclocking. I'm also using x2 3600+ and tf550 like u. idle 39/40c, full load 46/47c, Othos priming can reach almost 50c. Btw, I'm only running at 2.2ghz 1.2vcore. p/s : Please accept that stock heatsink isn't that great, u can't expect miracle from it. This post has been edited by allenultra: Sep 20 2006, 10:07 AM |

with whatever bios, the temperature u get from coretemp will be the same....
temperature bugs only will give difference reading on those utility like speedfan, etc. |

QUOTE(Cyclone87 @ Sep 24 2006, 12:12 AM) Biostar 6100 Am2 is crappy because it dont have adjustable memory setting for Cas Latency. That make really give us headache as it gonna fix CL at 3.0 even at DDR667. not really6100-am2 has the option u want. Must use the correct bios revision. mruzian, u sure? chipset temperature shouldn't be that low.... This post has been edited by allenultra: Sep 24 2006, 01:12 AM |

luckyghost, go to bios set vcore to 1.2v, push ur HTT up gradually from 220 and prime it min 8 hours(use Orthos) for stability.
Max out what u can do at stock vcore. High clockspeed need higher voltage is normal. Some can do near 2.4ghz with 1.2vcore...anything more than 2.4ghz, u need to pump a lot. So 2.5ghz at 1.4v? normal. Go try urself instead of putting auto voltage. Go try 1.3v, 1.35v |

If you find this useful, pls share this in the thread later for other forumers ref as well. This is the 6100-am2 setting that PCcrazy told me through PM. It works for me and now I break 270htt barrier and still priming, its around 2 hours now and should be no problem breaking 10 hours priming test. B4 this, I can never stable at HTT over 265..... Seventh, there is a way to know.
try run ur ram at divider ddr533 or ddr400, if problem still appeared. its not your ram, either ur board or your CPU, or even memory timing settings. |

QUOTE(Shengz @ Dec 31 2006, 11:11 PM) Awwww.. Clock for two days.. Still unable to find a stable rate.. Damn.. A question here.. I run SP2004 for CPU + RAM stress test.. Ermm.. Is it must let it run without any disturbance? Because if I load something, the test will returns error.. Whenever there are errors, either raise a bit vcore or vdimm.EDIT: Btw, does KVR DDR2 safe with 2.4v? I don't wanna fried my RAM.. If not scale the ram speed down to ddr533/ddr667 to find whether ram holding u back or the CPU. -pWs-, try ClockGen. |
