QUOTE(TerryZeroX @ Apr 21 2007, 11:20 AM) guys, my brisbane 3600+ at 2116mhz on stock hsf load temp is 48c is it normal? or i did not put my hsf correctly and caused higher temp? maybe u should re-apply the thermal paste and attach back the heatsink properly..last time my P4 3.0GHz is 50C++ on default clock, but then after i did the method like stated above, the temp reduced to <40C |

QUOTE(k3et @ Apr 27 2007, 08:27 AM) how much vdimm i should pump? is it save to pump it to vdimm 2.10? in overclocking, its always 'try and error' can u advise me on the ram timing i should set and the divider to DDR400/DDR533? we cant guarantee how much voltage needed, nor the fsb.. but u can always refer to the result and discussion made here for reference. so basically, if u r new in oc, take ur time and read the guide, then try it urself. then if u r not understand or got question to asked, u can post it here OT - ur signature is damn long This post has been edited by kalakatu: Apr 27 2007, 08:39 AM |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Apr 27 2007, 07:31 PM) anything in MHz doesn't work like that eh..does that mean ur infinity cannot support Brisbane in the first place? mhz cannot be compared like mb mhz = qualitative based mb = quantitative based Added on April 27, 2007, 7:34 pm Agena needs bios update i think... that's all. This depends on whether DFI will release a bios update for it or not My Infinity nF-M2 doesn't even have any bios update to support Brisbane i tot all the AM2 motherboard can supports all AMD processors with AM2 socket, regardless on which core it is.. |

QUOTE(amok @ Apr 28 2007, 12:56 AM) I cant stop laughing at myself... a year ago it would be impossible, an m-atx wif build in vga to overclock right out of the box... finally someone with Biostar TA690G AM2 posted the OC result..Stock Vcore, stock heat sink, KVR.... Still can't stop laughing.... I'm soooo outdated. X2 3600+, Brisbane Biostar TA690G AM2 KVR 1G, Hynix's Acbel 400W nice by the way..is that the far u went with 1T command rate? |

QUOTE(camedemac @ Apr 28 2007, 12:19 PM) when put under the aircond, my systems' (i meant proc, heatsink, chipset, board etc) temperature is around 15C-22C. Then after sometimes when i remove from the bookcase, it really hard to boot when i overclock a little bit (e.g 2.5GHz) like before. Need to wait the systems to get some 'hot' then only can poc a little bit like before. almost same situation with me..but for me, it happened when my windsor OCed to 2.4GHz and above..when switch on the pc, the monitor will show blank screen for about 30 seconds, then it will proceed BUT with th stock clock and voltage..is this cold boot? so what i did was, i entered the bios, exit and save, then ok |

i guess Amedion was right..biostar TForce 570U tend to increase the vcore more on what we have set..
in my case, i set the vcore : 1.250v but the posthardware and cpuz shows 1.290v then vcore : 1.275v cpuz and posthardware : 1.312v isnt that a huge difference? anyone with tforce 570u experienced this? ![]() |

QUOTE(bryanyeo87 @ May 4 2007, 01:06 AM) Just wanna share a little piece of info i got today for vcore voltages =) well i dun dare to use it...try using crystalcpuid to change ur voltage in windows, but make sure ur bios is at stock voltage. and read and understand the readme, because it can overzap ur cpu if u r not careful with the mouse scroll btw, i tried it and it works. last time i was using biostar utility to monitor my voltage, but what it do was altering my voltage from 1.475v to 1.25v |

i dunno how should i say this, but i think its quite dangerous when we set the vdimm jumper to 2.4v..
i saw my vdimm was 2.48v on the posthardware..lucky.. then i changed back to the normal jumper place.. and currently my crucial can go around ddr800 (divider 667) with unchanged vdimm.. now my target is, oc until the highest 1T can make.. |
