yes as long as the oil filter is proton's, sc wont know u service outside, unless the mech take a sample of it & send it to lab for testing, then u screwed big time, lol, joking only

i also plan after service done by proton, drive few km to my regular workshop change the engine oil to my likings, except for the oil filter la, use back since its very new, memang gila bazir duit, haha, what to do, i trust in the oil i used to till now
for me: nothing, just that i prefer my own choice of engine oil that is better but proton wont acknowledged it and threatening me by voiding warranty for not using their genuine parts, haha

They do the early change of oil after really hard driving to flush off the engine debris.. really have to full throttle before changing oil as early as that.. did that for my bike..

Can be done, just hit the highway right after u take the car, drive at high speed or top speed for like 1-2 minutes, and change the oil.. or just stick to the conventional break-in, just drive slow for the 1st 1k KM..

CoSE use Syntium 1000 wor.

Thats hard break in.. that is why immediate change of oil is needed after that.. to remove all the metal debris..

no idea, don't have a preve and most certainly don't practice 40km oil drain/change.
any modern car >1.5l NA can easily exceed 200kph on a downhill incline.

my old 1.5l auto iswara also officially went 176kph on NKVE and off record exceed meter ~190kph on the way to singapore via north south highway.
both aren't exactly downhill roads either.

Engine oil would be the same.. For the oil filter, recommended that u change because, its only rm12 anyway..
Personally, i have gone 220km/h on a straight road.. which i believe can be better if downhill..     

Oil filter, you can just walk in to any Proton SC and get the original filter. Would not have any prob and they wont know.

Just purchase the oil filter in proton SC, bring it to the normal shop, do regular servicing, (change engine oil and change oil filter)

It should be lower if not for my spirited drive up genting and top speed testing the other day..    btw, i did german sausage to my car and mostly only outstation drive with it..

german sausage means use cable tie wrap the turbo hose.

The oil filter is not expensive.. you can always go back to SC to directly buy from them for only RM12.22 + 6% GST only.... make sure the oil drain plug gasket also use back their original
I bought both for RM15.50 and got it changed outside so no one would suspect anything.
