What he meant is that in order to reach 10 swipes in 30 days, you will need to swipe RM50 once every 3 days.

no limit to merchant or count per day.

since your TNB bill already 5xx (each month?), it's relatively easy for you to activate the cashback requirements liao thumbup.gif

Not a problem. Once reach RM1000 just close case. If more kiasu can swipe until RM985 and your rebate % will be 10.15, if you know what I mean brows.gif

just curious. if 10% cb for RM985 = RM98.5, it will round-up to RM99 or RM100? sweat.gif

HLB counts and round up or round down each category. So if all 3 of your categories are rounded up (RM5 behind, eg RM105 rebate RM10.50=RM11), then you will get that extra 0.05% for each category, total up to 10.15%.

It does not depend on your total amount spent but rather the total spent for each category.

Regarding your question, it will be counted as RM98.50 = RM99 wink.gif

That's weird, never heard of such a thing.
Anyway, I only applied (and received) my WISE card, and I do not have the GSC card, so I do not think that they can say that these 2 cards are a "combo" or a "pair".
If you can apply for just one card, then logically you should be able to cancel just one card, individually.
The CS might be trying to pull a fast one on you, or maybe he isn't very clear about his product?
*
It's true, that's what a combo card card package. That's the reason I didn't get the gsc when I checked for the annual fee. But I'm abit regret as if I get it that time I'll get a free Fan by now.

yeah, did a calculation using tbheng's info (3 categories) vs 1 category.

best is to maximize all 3 categories to achieve lower spending and highest cashback.

if just 1 category, need around RM995 to hit RM100 cashback sweat.gif

Yeah, I can confirm the 10.15% CB. Got it once, total spent RM985.10, total CB RM100, effective rate 10.15%. tongue.gif

not just online payment, even over-the-counter payment will be missed out.

that's why my dad dont allow me to pay TNB bills via online (mbb2card amex @ m2u) cuz he want to check the physical bill first before making next payment. many times he had to dispute the missing previous payment. now, he's checking/rechecking TNB bills each time. sweat.gif

I have been paying my TNB bills since June last year. So far no problem at all. The only "missing" payment on my tnb bill is that I forgot to pay tongue.gif

missing payments never happened to me before as well. you have a receipt from paying using amex via m2u anyway. no worries...

If you are not a heavy spender, WISE is not for you. MBB cards are more suitable.
