Don't be happy to fast guys..u all should take note smthing about huawei..Mysia always late to get their product bcoz a lot of factor including lack of distributor..

Its not what depends on market for now, as honor branding is only available in mainland through online order only, which similar to xiao mi. Honor branding phone will be much cheaper when compare to huawei ones

Sometimes it just need bit common sense to know that it's totally impossible with that kinda pricing. You guys could check out from these 2 seller, Eternal Team and Shen Zhen Value, both has high ratings and charge reasonable price for DHL/ FedEx shipping, which usually below 10 USD .

Saw and played with this baby during the Huawei event today. Approx 30 people attended. Met uncle Benny and a couple of other mods.
OMG it's a really sexy piece of kit. It could even fit in my shirt breast pocket !!! The screen is fantastic, performance is smooth, and Asphalt 8 was nicely playable. Expected availability in July. Love its nice tactile back panel, and totally flat surfaces both front and back. Everyone present was playing with it. I'm sorely tempted to get this now. Screen colour accuracy. Bottom 3 phones from left to right, NOTE 3 (professional photo screen mode) you can see has a tinge of orange, the Xperia Z, which has a strong blue tint, Huawei 3C, huawei's "unannounced" phone, probably around RM300-700 with insane colour accuracy. The screen is the same screen being used by the iphone. The largest device screen is huawei's also unannounced Mediapad, again, great colours.

Had play the phone for the past 2 days, 3G version -It's pocketable, easily fit in my slack or jeans easily.. (did't try to squat down thou -7 inches screen quality screen, i would say it looks as good as my wife notes -Smooth internet browsing, youtube streaming, I yet to try any games. -Impressed with the 5mp front camera, good for selfie -Battery superb.. my phone still 60% now since last charge at 8am.. with moderate browsing, auto sync for whatssap and gmail.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

i think the LTE is for international market, but i think it's not yet announced by huawei CN.
anyway here is the benchmark that i run just now  it's not the fastest smartphone i had tried, but i think it's one of the most value for money phablet in market right now Big screen, doing calls, above par processor, durable battery Easily rootable..1 click root by using some china application. The only one letdown: not expecting many developer from XDA, ?? huawei support for further update |

Honestly Samsung offering is really crap. I just go check back my browsing history, this China brand 7 inch phablet is really crazy for price performance ratio. Luftco A-one X powered by mtk6592, 1920 x 1200 gorilla glass, 2gb ram 16gb ROM, 13mp & 2mp camera combo, with 4k mah removable battery. Phone dimension 186.1*105.4*8.5mm, weight 223g, selling at rmb 1188 yuan in JD.com. Extremely dirt cheap.....

My noob review.
HUAWEI HONOR X1. 1.the full set. -contains phone,charger and usb cable only.no earphone. 2.the size. -thanks to it thin bazel the phablet are the smallest compared to other 7‘’ tablet in market.pocketable in my jeans and slack. -size comparison with samsung galaxy mega ：  3.the display. -full hd display.make it retina display,2k or even 4k.for me all those high resolution screen just a gimmick tools to compete and attract customers .i really dont need all that since im satisfied with hd display.i prefer to enjoy high resolution movies on my 42" tv compared to small screen like phone and tablet.take that aside the screen on honor x1 are clear and crisp and viewing angle is great. 4.the UI. -its called EMOTION ui.well,not a fan of it .app drawer are not available so need to scroll left and right to see installed apk.got several pre installed themes and also can be downloaded.   |

-correct me if im wrong but honor x1 is the 1st device from huawei with 13mp camera.well i dont have issue with the camera except for the noise when under low light condition.  Outdoor  Indoor low light.  Outdoor night. Front camera is great for selfie.how many people can u get in for group selfie with your phone? 2 3 Peoples?well thanks to honor x1 5mp and wide lens front camera easily can group selfie with 5 peoples wothout need to use monopod.lol. -when turned on 1st time the battery is at 55%.2 hours of sot,snap 50 pictures ,downloading 500mb of files and light browsing.i left the phone over night in standby mode with mobile data off.well,you be the judge.  7.the performance -not a big fan on heavy gaming on phones.as long can browsing,light gaming,youtubing and reading manga smoothly im ok already.honor x1 perform well to fullfill my need.not as good as snapdragon800 but for sure better than most MTK chipset. 8.The special features. -double tap to wake up.motion control,hover gesture and glove mode. Specs show ext sdcard support to only 32gb?? Anyone tried with 64gb n is exfat format supported. My previous Ascend Mate can support 64gb but only in fat32 format |

New review after Google account workaround
The battery life is just fantastic. It's like the phone doesn't need to charge!! I'm not a heavy user or gamer but i guess the results will be stunning as well even with gaming. Most of the time the phone is sitting idle on my table while I'm busy, but after optimizing and taking care of wakelock apps I suspect it should be even better Reading on this baby just blows your mind away. So big yet so manageable I've got flipboard as well and it rocks Movies play perfectly as well. It's THE perfect entertainment machine Size wise, it fits well into pockets (except for tight lady jeans). But holding it for a conversation is just…  Using with single hand is not possible as well I've managed to get all the Google apps to work and even removed some of it Root is no problem at all. Done within minutes just with clicking Rooting is recommended for installing the complete suite of Google stuff, installing Google stuff over Huawei appstore doesn't give u contacts and calendar sync 1 big problem is i cannot add another Google account to the phone I find it troublesome as i can't use my work gmail as primary and personal gmail as secondary for the contacts For now I've copied all contacts to the work account but hopefully this can be fixed in the future Overall, the phone has its small software problems but not to the point of unusable LTE works well as well  For me who is commuting weekly, bring it on For those who prefer mobility, probably something like the size of iPhone 5s is suitable for u I'm a happy guy for now |

For people who bought the China set 7d-503l, all the Google stuff can work perfectly even can add multiple Google accounts. Best thing is, u don't need root. Here's how:
1) Go to app centre - all - brand and look for the one with 谷歌 (sorry I've updated app centre and it might be different if u haven't update) 2) Download 联系人同步服务, 日历同步服务, Google Playstore, Gmail and Google plus. The rest can be downloaded from playstore 3) After it install, open either playstore or gmail and sign in At this stage, Google already setup properly just cannot add multiple Google accounts. Workaround: 4) Open Google plus. Settings - add account And done. The phone is perfect now |

And also there is an OTA update
The phone version now is b006 Still 4.2.2 though There are additional options to enable/control the notification light but still limited I feel the phone battery life also improved |

got this tablet yesterday,feel smaller than a normal 7 inch tablet,battery is awesome,screen is similar to ipad retina display very sharp,camera is really good for normal shoot.Ideal use for working because can also use as phone.Thumbs up!

Glad you also find the camera is good too. I am pretty impressed with the camera speed especially the front camera. They also have to tap the screen to shoot like the G3. Rooted my set with root genius program. Very quick and easy. Took less than half a minute to do it
But after root supersu app not displayed . So I just installed it from playstore Tested n root working well on root explorer, titanium backup, eas backup |

yoyoan nice teardown. But the battery will be hard to find if it needs replacing. Due to its slimness, the screen will be affected if the battery starts to bulge.

Does it lag when open multiple heavy app in background and switching among it?
Using mi3 with s800 doesnt feel any lags. But on my mega 6.3 with s400, quite laggy. Wonder this kirin910 can compare with s600? |

1st day of Mediapad X1.
Last night 10pm finish charge 100%, this morning wake up with 88%. The night is with WIFI & DATA on. Sync off. Power saving mode NORMAL. Check battery, its google service issue. Morning ON Sync, until now 82%. Seem like today i have to ROOT it and do some tweak. Camera quality so far its good, just took a few documentation photo. Weekend will try outdoor photo. By lens and specification sheet. Mediapad X1 camera is F2.0 while my Note 3 is F2.2 so Mediapad X1 camera is better than Note 3 camera according to spec. Screen is fantastic for gaming, reading. So far its the best screen i ever have on my mobile device. Copy XZU slogan abit. Big screen, BIG entertainment mah. |

Battery life is excellent. Today for battery usage of 43%, my SOT is 4.3 hours. This means up to 10 hours SOT to empty
Phone fully on 3g n wifi and more than 80% of time on internet stuffs : browsing, facebook, newsfeed, tweeter, email, whatsapp n few calls

USB otg cable works well on the phone. No need to install any other app. Phone detect cable n attached thumb drives or external sdcard readers

This X1 is really good in terms of pocketability, resolution and screen real estate.This X1 size is just nice for a 7 incher to be used as a phone. Any bigger is just uncomfortable I suppose pairing this with a nice Zagg Autofit will serve most light computing needs already. |

Tried some simple macro shot this morning.
Mediapad X1 have something like OIS in digital way. (Object tracking in camera setting). It catch my little flower even when wind is blowing. Out come, mediapad X1 macro flower shot is stable and a little better n clear than N3. Both device camera in Auto setting and Full resolution. By Note 3  20140614_074454 By Mediapad X1  IMG_20140614_074231 Its sharper and color is better in Mediapad X1. Well, i need still to take more photo to have a final conclusion. |

It look grainy because Note 3 using ISO 200 while X1 using ISO 355 which is higher in result of noise. And yes Note 3 look blur cause by hand shake.
I like X1 color more, more contrast. Btw object tracking is not OIS |

Finally saw the actual unit in lowyat.. Quite nicely built but the iPad mini looks better. However Huawei comes with call capabilities. Lte version only has 1 sim?

Is there an option for display mirroring or DLNA screen casting? ie meaning you can play your movies and it shows up on a DLNA/Wi-Di compatible TV. |
