Had play the phone for the past 2 days, 3G version

-It's pocketable, easily fit in my slack or jeans easily.. (did't try to squat down thou
-7 inches screen quality screen, i would say it looks as good as my wife notes
-Smooth internet browsing, youtube streaming, I yet to try any games.
-Impressed with the 5mp front camera, good for selfie
-Battery        superb.. my phone still 60% now since last charge at 8am.. with moderate browsing, auto sync for whatssap and gmail.

According to the chinese website this phone support 2 LTE band TD and FDD so can roamming in whole world. It also support 2types of wifi but i do not know how to confirm it.

actually no problem at all paying videos on youtube apps.the problem occurred when you play youtube video that was embed into website.like if someone embed youtube video on lowyat.net the video will be lag and  not synchronized.

it's funny to see what samsung is able to do , the Honor X1 is more handy thanks to its 4:3 format

Specs wise totally lose. I guess pricing will be cheaper as well

New review after Google account workaround

The battery life is just fantastic. It's like the phone doesn't need to charge!!
I'm not a heavy user or gamer but i guess the results will be stunning as well even with gaming. Most of the time the phone is sitting idle on my table while I'm busy, but after optimizing and taking care of wakelock apps I suspect it should be even better

I've got flipboard as well and it rocks
Movies play perfectly as well. It's THE perfect entertainment machine

Size wise, it fits well into pockets (except for tight lady jeans). But holding it for a conversation is just… 
Using with single hand is not possible as well

I've managed to get all the Google apps to work and even removed some of it
Root is no problem at all. Done within minutes just with clicking
Rooting is recommended for installing the complete suite of Google stuff, installing Google stuff over Huawei appstore doesn't give u contacts and calendar sync

1 big problem is i cannot add another Google account to the phone
I find it troublesome as i can't use my work gmail as primary and personal gmail as secondary for the contacts
For now I've copied all contacts to the work account but hopefully this can be fixed in the future

Overall, the phone has its small software problems but not to the point of unusable
LTE works well as well 
For me who is commuting weekly, bring it on
For those who prefer mobility, probably something like the size of iPhone 5s is suitable for u
I'm a happy guy for now

Hopefully Malaysian official device will be Honor X1.. The name honor means it will sells online,  and at much cheaper price.. If we get Mediapad, be prepared for a mainstream price tags

actually both harware are the same but for china market's model 7D-503l they cannot mention support FDD LTE because china government haven release the FDD permit, I had ask the Vmall forum about this and i tried the 7D-503l it work well with our celcom and maxis 4G which is FDD LTE.

Huawei normally offer some freebies for new phone launches
Prices offered now by 3rd party sellers will definitely drop further over next 2 weeks

Uncle Benny, why ur unit come with SP? The seller help u install or its come with box seal? And how much u bought it? Still thinking get this beauty or LG G Pro 2, but what i worry about its the LG ap warranty.
