1st look n touch on those casing, Fantasea does stand out comparing to ikelite. But never try exploring further though

G16 shooters r gaining PoWer

I'm planning to Perhentian on this 31 May and I got 2 friends that would like to Discover Scuba.
Any recommendation for the DC at Perhentian and if possible they would like to have a local instructor, perhaps for easy to communicate...English hancur maybe

Yup, got the camera for RM1500 and the Ikelite casing for RM1450. Still saving for strobes and lenses.

Battery life quite good. So far I did 3 dives without a problem. Not even half of the battery life is drained.

Let me know if you get any good close up lens. Yeah, the macro is awesome. Even after cropping a big part of the pic, the details are still there.



Thank you @b5n111 . Just learn by trial and error. Not really from the 1st shoot out, but 1st UW camera that I own. Hehe! Pictures from my first few dives are bad too. I practice shooting random things with the camera in the housing. Fantasea are better in many ways. The Ikelite casing gave me some minor problems already when I used it on my first dive. But their support staff was helpful enough and managed to have the problems solved.

With RM1450, u should have got Fantasea G16 Casing! Its just additional around RM100 difference!

yeah, my bad. coz i paid deposit to order ikelite too soon, then fantasea released the housing

I'm waiting rm1199 promotion, just like they did for g15, i think they will do for g16 too, just the matter of time

Bakawan suits your main requirements the best, local DM or instructor!

I suck at taking wide angle photos, need to play around more with my camera haha.

Was using ikelite housing for G15 in the past, hate the buttons. Changed to Fantasea now and I'm loving the new housing. Plus the double oring and moisture detector, really worth it I would say. Hopefully it's durable too.
