u guys are frequent divers? My last dive I got stung by sea lace aka jellyfish

Some of us are frequent, some of us come here on and off
As for me, one trip every 2-3 months or so. Where did you get stung by jellyfish? Jellyfish stings are no fun

perhentian island. It is not really jellyfish, u can't see it with bare eyes. Instructor said it was sealace, local said it was jellyfish. But for sure it was very itchy n no fun. Lol

i'm looking at a trip July/Aug period....anyone has anything planned? local dive

juz got my Canon G16 with generic uW casing... veli vege happy!

any strobe suggestion? hahaha... trying to grab one or one video light...

Here are some of my test shots with the Canon G16 + Ikelite housing. No strobe, no lens, no filter... because no budget

My first U/W camera. Quite happy with the result. But I'll recommend to get Fantasea housing rather than Ikelite. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Generic first. Saving blink blink for Fantasea G16. But if the current casing serve me well then probably won't grab tat. Brand: Meikon ... Is this good?

LoLed~ canon no more original stock and existing available uW casing all shoot rocket high price.

Photos? Wait ler... Just got it 3 days ago, haven't fully explore the whole things yet. (Feeling bad jump ship from Nikon) probably another 3 weeks more u see some of uW photo after my Mantanani Dive Trip in May.

You are using the uW mode ah? Do u manually adjust the build in electronic red filter? How deep ya? Do u pp those picture b4?

Plan to get Tovatec Mini Flashlight/Videolight and Camera Arms this few days... For video n picture purposes.

I just crop the pics and adjust the exposure. So far been only using it for few dives. Still learning to use the manual mode by trial and error. But for the pictures I posted, I use UW mode for wide angle and AV mode for macro. The first three pics was taken at the same site, depth was about 23m. The nudi was from one of the reef, about 9m.

How I'm wish to have Ikelite as well but that may cost me RM3k plus the camera.

So far my setup only cost me RM1500 (G16, Sandisk Extreme 16G SDHC) and RM450 for the casing.

Wish list: coil spring adapter (not sure correct or not?!) RM39, Tovatec Flash Light plus Holder RM200. +10 close up filter 67mm at RM60. Extra Battery around RM60?

Limited budget >,<'
